This beautiful song brings back sweet memory of Lagos in the '60s and '70s. We lived on Western Avenue, in the '60s, between Ojuelegba and Police Barrack, and all you heard in the air in the evening were sweet songs like this. You could hear them because Western Avenue was only a two way road then (no Ojuelegba bridge and less traffic), so there wasn't much noise like you have today. E T Mensah was very good and popular especially with his trumpet. Thanks for the posting, buddie.
THERE..ISN'T IT....JUST THE GEM of the OLD HIGH-LIFE.
