He was almost 13 and in the car with his mom and her friend when his mom said, "12 year old kids don't have problems" hearing this her son replied, "Yes they do-I'm gay" .

@welovenatnalex I never said anything about either trait being "right or wrong" I was merely pointing out to HaleyDappie that expecting someone (John) to act or talk a certain way is to stereotype gay people. If we really want the rest of the world to accept gay people aren't different we shouldn't go out of our way to act different. IMHO

@HaleyDappie The fact that John isn't a typical "flamer" makes him all the more attractive. A lot of gay men get turned off by the effeminate actions. If they wanted to be with someone that acted like a woman, they would go out with a woman. Don't change, John.

I know what you mean about people wanting to be your friend simply because of your sexuality. I'm not gay, but, I'm bi, and straight girls find it either cool or gross it seems and straight guys usually find it hot. I hate that.
