Hey! its probrably just ghosting on the camera lens. This is quite common with video cameras, and it fools alot of people into thinking its a really close strike when its really not! I chased well into victoria on the weekend from central NSW, and didnt get much. I somehow avoided most of the action :( The Melbourne storm was spectacular, I wish I was there.
@pingtang666 yea your probably right :) yea i have never been in a storm that bad in my life :/ it was pretty awesome the hail was huge,,,, ive posted a video of the storm on the 6th of march if u wanna watch it

That's a pretty cool clip of the storm, but it was so amazing as well. Part of my backyard flooded and we lost power as well.
