Been following your walkthrough so I could get 100% in under 3 hours. Problem is, it requires a certain amount of skill I don't really have. Wall jumping is a pain and so is shinesparking. I was already 3 hours in by the time I got to Ridley. :(

Thanks for the LP! I played this game several times and still, watching it is quite enjoyable. And of course your comments helps not to get bored at any point. Btw, did you try some hacks to this game? "Super Metroid Redesign" is really good. The world is larger, locations changed, cheapness of some items is toned down and not all walls are "jumpable". It's harder, but not unfair.

How sad. Yes, your Metroid buddy died DD: but what about the friendly Zebes creatures? The whole planet blows up anyways. It kinda makes me giggle but it's so sad at the same time. :'(

The Etecoons and Dachoras(the friendly Zebes creatures) do escape. If you look closely when Samus' ship is escaping Zebes, you'll see a purple light fly away from Zebes as well. That purple light is the friendly creatures, meaning that they found some way off Zebes.

Aww.... Poor Metroid.... Sammy must've been VERY VERY MAD when Mother Brain destroyed the Metroid there for that's how my version of Sammy would feel and i'm sure that was the emotion that Sammy right there was feeling indeed! Very good run of this good classic indeed PinkKittyRose! :D

I'm also glad to see that you also had time to rescue the Buddies of Brinstar as well for they didn't deserve to blow up on Zebes for i'm sure they may have dound an escpae pod or something to get out of the way of Zebes' destruction just in time like Sammy did as well! Very nice run on this grand classic indeed PinkKittyRose! XD

I'll try and upload a video on some ways to get out of Zebes' countdown to destruction quicker also with more time to get the Buddies of Brinstar out more quickly for there is a way I learned through a speedrun of this classic to get through the platform room more quickly by using the Speed Boost Jump and also to get out of the second room full of Space Pirates.

I'll try for I don't really know how to upload videos that are recorded by the Snes9X emulator which I plan to use to record my run on how to get out of the countdown to Zebes' destruction more quickly but i'm certain I will try to get a video to work to upload through YouTube's upload system yet i'm not certain if it will work with the filetype that YouTube usually permits but i'll do my best to try however. :)

Sorry but I couldn't find a way to convert the smv file that has the run that shows how to get through the countdown to destruction of Zebes with getting the Buddies of Brinstar out as well and that is the annoying that that is blocking my run to be uploaded to YouTube. Sorry. But i'll try to explain it to words but not too long. :)

At the room at 2:30 you can get to the other side faster by a secret way of using the Speed Boost Jump upwards near the floor to the portal to the next room for it is Speed Boost Jumpable by running along the bottom floor and gaining enough speed to execute the Speed Boost Jump upwards and at 3:27 you can use the Speed Boost jump at the very end of the platform room and Speed Boost Jump all the way to the top making it very quick to reach the other side.

If you did know this already then i'm sorry for posting so many comments here but I thought that if you didn't know any of these tips then I would be more than glad to tell you of these helpful hints and they do indeed work for I have tried them myself and these helphul shortcuts really do work. Anyways, very nice job on escaping and releasing the Buddies of Brinstar and getting through the countdown to destruction of Zebes indeed PinkKitty Rose! XD

ahh now that was good, nothing completes a Metroid game like a dramatic, explosive escape after 2 enemies fight and help you... that and the pwnage beam you got for the escape
