Man lrmxr, to a relative newb that loves disco, funk, house, good music, etc. , i'm really grateful that you post these videos up. Please keep doing them.
hey rkfromchi, you are obviously an old fool who doesn't get out much. Mike Dunn has THE best party in Chi on a TUESDAY night--and he plays a lot of edits. He was voted best dj of 2009 by 5 magazine. I would tell you the location but there are no haters there and we'd like to keep it that way. I had the pleasure of hearing them BOTH spin at The Tape in Berlin. Shout out to them both and leonard for telling it like it is, was, and shall be.
You back from the sand yet. I feel ya bro, I'm in the same boat; I started DJing in 85, left to join the Army in 89 and when I came back, the same cats that were spinning on my Gemini DJQ 1200s in my basement had records on the shelf and were on their way to achieving Supa-Star DJ status. I dont hate, but i do wish I would have did my 4 and went back to Detroit and got back into the music thang. Peace
Leonard, i remember your days back in the late 90s, early 2000s at the Swap-o-rama, dude. The place havent been the same since you and your music booth left the scene. I must thank you for the hook-up on the music edit software back in 2001, brotha. It has helped me a lot with my own DJing endeavors. much luv, Leonard.
respect man! u get much props from me. i was 15 when i started DJin house in NJ. i love all my house fathers. farley, silk, adonis, tyree, fast eddie chip e, marshall jefferson, fast eddie, jessie saunders, etc. I love yawl brothers.
There were some lesser known but exceptionally good DJ's during that time period in the Go but I don't remember you. Did you go by another name? What places did you mix at? Remember the R2 Underground, Candy Store, Mendel?
Hi, I've been watching your videos, and what I'm hearing is incredible, is that all really the truth? Because if it is, then the whole thing I was thinking about the history of house music is going to change for me.

Leonard Rroy sould have put something out and never did. He would have blown everybody away. Hot Mix 5 wouldn't have had a chance.
