  • I like how people blindly defend a bad movie such as Twilight that tainted the meaning of "Vampire". They totally ignore what made a bad movie and take craps as masterpieces.

  • @kducpham True enough. But don't take these people seriously because they never take the show seriously to begin with. They watch with children mindset, easygoing and loose. They just simply "entertain" and enjoy the show and don't care about the details. It's a waste of time to talk some sense to them, they can't "see" what is lacking in the show after all.

  • I like how haters of Gundam AGE (or dislikers) are like " I hate Gundam AGE, It sucks. So that's why I watched more than 20 episodes of it and try to realize all the bad things so I can say how much it sucks, and completely ignore the good parts because it sucks."

    WTF?

  • Until ep 22, this series is mind fuck the viewers. Indeed, it's for kids, but the level of story acceptance drops as quick as 1st generation one. It's damn frustrate to see people "teleport" in middle of the battlefield. Beside, if the animation keep dropping like this, R(AGE) gundam is done for. I will continue to see how low this gundam show can reach. Still the military space uniform is fucking dumb, just like HRL space suit in 00. Thank god, they did change it back there.

  • lol another haro who creates em anyway?

  • @AbrahamTamerX Eh, probably some toy company (SEED, SEED Destiny, sxome time in the Universal Century after first Gundam) and then Celestial Being (why do they have something so obnoxious?) built theirs.

  • The day in anime where the haters were butt fucking told in the ass. Look at them, they're so quiet now.

Oh man if I ever find one of you fags in real life, I'd pie you.

  • This anime is actually really good. I gave it a chance and I'm so glad I did, this is the old gundam I havent seen since gundamwing. It really good and I recommend everyone to try at least til episode 20

  • ok ok ok, looks like a kid show, but hey isnt that awesome! Im pretty sure that all of us had great childhoods because of gundam, dbz, digimon, etc. and is time for todays kids to have an awesome childhood too.

  • Nah, you guys need to watch it first.I agreed ,it looked like a kid's show in the beginning but wait till you watch when the green haired kid grew older.Thats when the action starts.

  • looks like fucking digimon...what the hell

  • @vietster1234 How about you actually watch this anime that is now 20+ episodes in instead of bitching about how it looks. People like you who complain without trying to use rational thought make the anime community look bad.

  • Just saw episode 20 and I gotta say one of the best fights I've seen from gundam. The whole battle was just amazing to watch. especially during the scenes of them going at full speed

  • @Girintina yeah, the problem in this series was advertising it as an "humans vs aliens" but until now it exceded my expectations!

  • @Girintina

Episode 22 is even more brutal, the fight between Decil in the Khronos and Filt in the AGE-1 Flat was a callback to Char and Amuro in CCA. Although it was pretty one-sided...

AGE was pretty slow at first but second season was well worth it, only thing I can rant about is the speed of the MS development... two decades and the Federation finally comes up with the Adele...? From U.C. 87 to U.C. 96 there was huge changes, same with 00 S1 to S2, and SEED to DESTINY.

  • I abandoned seeing this anime after episode 10.I was thinking im wasting my time seeing an anime that looked more like yugioh than the average gundam. That was till i saw episode 17.That is where i thought it was getting interested(To tell the truth there many things inside this gundam anime that will remind you older 1s.I mean the battle sounds remind of seed). So i restarted seeing it.Look it might didnt look like it was good but the phrase 'dont jugde by its looks' really must be sayed here

  • it's okay people, we still have Gundam Unicorn, and Gundam Origins is in the midst of production!! Sieg Zeon!

  • the fuck...

  • To quote James Randi: Enjoy the fantasy, the form, the story. But be sure there is a clear line drawn on the floor. To do otherwise is to invite madness.

  • are people still complaining about this show if so dear god get a life. the show about half way though and its better than other gundams

  • Lets start by making one thing clear. GUNDAM IS MEANT FOR A JAPANESE AUDIENCE ONLY! NOT MEANT FOR PEOPLE OUTSIDE JAPAN! Its a completely different culture than ours. There are bound to be some parts of the story that don't make sense to us but make perfect sense to a native japanese. So stuff you guys are bitching about are mostly due to culture differences. & a real fan would just accept the show for what it is & not act like a bunch of whining babies cause its not what you want it to be.

  • @MaximalElder26 Actually, there isn't anything that we could consider being difficult to understand about AGE so far. But these fans who demand a "mature" series apparently are acting worse than the kids this show is targeted towrds. Most of these guys cannot and will not listen to rhyme or reason because they believe Anime is tailor made for them all the time.

  • @SageofTalos I consider myself an anime fan too. But I hold no illusions that it was made for me. All these whiney little bitches make the rest of us sane anime fans look bad.

  • a true gundam fan would love all of its series.......and not complain about the disadvantages of the series

  • @ZshinnK well to me thats pointless since every gundam has flaws and because of that the next one can always improve and be better...sometimes

  • @RogueFeathers well i never agreed more!!

  • Lightsaber?

Why do people hate it so much?

  • @Primus2X because it isn't tailor made for their preferences-fan boys hate when something they don't like exists. Most of them probably just don't want to give this a chance saying the same insults after 17 episodes.

  • Good thing only the start of Age-1 was as terrible as what this trailer showed to us

  • If you guys are interested in the series check out our brief review Gundam Age

  • Seriously, you should shut your gun about kid psychology. It's common knowledge that kid would pick gag manga rather than dark story. It's also have scientific studies about this and you guys come here and tell everyone that kid will love main stream gundam ? What a joke. Gundam did target kids before, but the matter lies at "Did they success ?" Because they didn't success in attract kids, now they try harder as a result, a hybrid of ideas. Not good, not bad, just fine but that's that.

  • Woah why all dislikes !!

  • Wow..gundam has a black person on there...Thats a first

  • What exactly makes my statement invalid?

  • @227ujo If I wanted a good story, I would read a book. I don't watch Anime for the story. I watch Anime for the coupling of a good story, and an appealing art style. If an art style is not appealing, the series loses a lot it's value. As I have a strong dislike for the art style of AGE, I can already say that at the most it will have an entertainment value 50% of what it could have been.

  • People, this 227ujo is actually didn't know a shit about the current situation. Sunrise claimed that Age target audience is kids, and because it doesn't seem to be a hit, they are cut off the fund for this project and let it die as soon as possible to begin another one. As you can see the quality of the story and setting is so poor until now. There are indeed some positive moment but it's not enough to save the sinking ship.

  • @kducpham where did sunrise state that they would cut funding for Age. If something like Destiny would be allowed to finish, than Age is likely going to go through around fifty episodes like most Gundam series. And in my own opinion, I would say that the first 17 episodes of Age have been better than the first 17 episodes of Seed

  • @ReverieExodus Too bad, they can't kill it right away but reduce the fund. Have you ever ask why there are so many flaws in the storyline and setting ? It's clearly shown in each episode, it'll going through but they want it to end quick to preserve the money. And your statement is invalid. It's no point to compare 2 series just base on few words. It's just like compare Pepsi with Coke, go on with this kind of rant, I don't care. I can said the same Seed is far better than (R) Age

  • @kducpham No I haven't asked myself that because I've been enjoying the storyline so far. The storyline is suppose to be fast paced because they need to go through three generations, giving each one about 15 to keep it around the normal fifty episode run. If there was a cut in funding it would show in the animation quality and so far the animation has been smooth like most Gundam shows. Neither of us will likely change the other's opinion but I'm just wondering where it said funding was cut

  • @ReverieExodus Then keep it to yourself. You are watching a show for kid and you enjoy it. If you didn't realize what's lacking I would like to ask you: An UE shoot beam through the wall inside the MS factory, right straight to the space but right after that, Woolf and (R)age gundam just stand and watch. There is no pressure lost, nothing at all. I can count many flaws like this in the story, can you find the same ? Animation is not really matter here, it's the story.

  • @ReverieExodus Do you ever notice that there are scenes which can be increase such as the death of Flit's mother for more dramatic. They could have make the UE dogfight rather than "Stand and die". They could have done this better but the staff has fail my expectation. At least, Gundam Seed did better than (R)Age in making heart breaking moments.

  • @kducpham I could point out stuff that was lacking in Seed and weak points in the show but that wouldn't answer my original question. Where was it said that funding was being cut for Age.

  • @ReverieExodus You still can't see it ? The answer is right there. I insist you take a break and watch Gundam Unicorn, you'll see the answer.

  • @kducpham Are you implying something wrong with liking a kids show? Most gundam tv series aren't targeted at adults and just because something is a kid's show doesn't mean its lacking in quality. And why should I keep it to myself? You've pointed out your dislike of Age. Look, I'm not saying you should like Age more than Seed, you're entitled to your own opinion. We each have our own opinions on the series and you've pointed out your reasons for not liking it.

  • @ReverieExodus Gundam target at kids but who bought their DVD, Model kits ? Who contribute so much money for them ? Teenagers and young adult. But now, they want to expand their market to KIDS ! They try to simplify the story, take out the killing scenes such as someone dying, blow up like balloons in Seed. They even simplify so many thing that we could laugh at the realistic setting in AGE era. If this is not gundam, I may like it. Too bad, it's a 50 eps Gundam TV series.

  • @kducpham Gundam has always been a kids' show. Every. Last. One. Of. Them. Because, what constitutes as a kids show in your country is different elsewhere. Who buys the DVD's and model kits? Yes, we have the young adults and teeneagers but you also have PARENTS buying them for their kids if they can't afford the products. Gundam appeals to anyone 10 and older; how old were you when you saw your first Gundam series? Gundam will always come out with a series that attracts younger audiences ok?

  • @SageofTalos It's always a late teen show. They have SD for kids though, it's how they target the younger audience, ok ?

  • @kducpham First of all if your answer about funding is Unicorn, than that is flawed. Unicorn is a 6 episode OVA based on novels released over the span of a few years. OVAs always have a larger budget than a tv series and a shorter run time, thus the animation quality would be higher. Second, kids have always been the target of the Gundam franchise because toy sales keep it up. There have been models from previous series target towards kids.

  • @ReverieExodus The quality that need to be funded is the story. At least, it must be real. Gundam show is always famous for it realistic. But in Gundam Age, you keep pointed out the animation quality. The quality can not be the same as OVA but at least, don't turn it to a Power Ranger show !

  • @kducpham And Seed was targeted for a younger audience as well and so was the original gundam. There was a controversy over the way a scene showed Kira and Flay after having sex. The reason was because it was aired during a time block where kids would be watching and it in the block to get kids to want to buy models. Age has not taken out killing scenes and recent events have taken a darker turn. Just because Gundam is targeted for younger audiences doesn't mean it won't pick up an older one.

  • @ReverieExodus Too bad, they didn't see the reaction of the audience in this project. Look at the like/dislike bar and see for yourself. If they want to target young audience, a story like Gunpla Builder is more suitable than Age. Tell me what's young audience expect in gundam serie ? I tell you that the first rule of targeting young audience is "Cheerful, easy to understand and less violent." Origin gundam may target younger audience but other series such as 08MS Team did not.

  • @kducpham Last time they listened to the audience we got Gundam Seed Destiny. The only way funding can affect stories is if they have to cut down on the number of episodes. The reason i brought up animation is because that is an expensive part of making an anime. Did it ever occur to you that maybe some people who were against the show have changed their mind, cause that is what i've picked up. And you apparently have never seen G Gundam or how successful that show was.

  • @ReverieExodus I've seen G Gundam and I'm amaze that you said that it's successful. Lol, that's make you have no sense about movies and stuffs. G Gundam is heavily influence by Dragonball and Kungfu stuffs that make the whole show concept move toward SUPER genre when Gundam is suppose to be Real genre. I take a serie into different part, animation, story, physic concept, character design, etc. Just like G Gundam the realistic in Age is trashes

  • @ReverieExodus Do you know how hard gundam and MS in space have to deal with ? They have no spare part. Then, you have Age system with unlimited resource. That's BS. They even let UE fly in and fly out the colony so easily, even transport by truck without attract attention, that's BS. And how the hell people of Mar build up their economy ? Trade with alien ? That's BS.

  • Comment removed

  • @kducpham And its possible that the Vagan have been stealing resources from the colonies they've been attacking. G Gundam isn't a favorite of mine but it has left an impact in the world and has a large fanbase. Flit's development is to show the negative effects war has on a person, just like other characters in Gundam, and Age does have a degree of realism just like other series. Age is not a perfect series but it is a strong entry. That is my opinion and you are entitled to your own.

  • @kducpham how often have zeon mobile suits entered a colony virtually unchallenged before? Let's see, um the original gundam 0079, that colony gassing scene in 08th MS team, oh and we can't forget the libot colony attacks in 0080 (seriously, what BS that the zeons can not only bring in their own mechs in unnoticed but they can also order in a dissassembled MS for later use!). We don't know how vast the mars colonization was, and Yark Doel probably traded weapons for resources for the Veigans.

  • @SageofTalos We have a PILOT drive a truck with an MS under little cover right into the colony without being detected. A least someone had to sound the alarm you thick head.

  • @kducpham that's true. I did wonder how the hell he got away with that.

  • @SageofTalos Then you start seeing my way. There are plenty of these stuffs I notice in AGE, that's why it's unbelievable. One or twos mistakes, I can ignore them but there are too many flaws plot like this that make me wonder that "Did the director know his shit ? Or they have no fund to make the scene more decent ?"

  • @kducpham Sometimes I wonder, but I am lax towards AGE since I never take any Gundam series too seriously. Age hasn't made any WTF moments for me yet.

  • @SageofTalos Then you didn't take it seriously I bet. It take me half a years to understand the concept of each gundam series such as "Neutron Jammer Canceller" or "Minosky Particle", and then I can understand HOW the gundam world work. It may be too hardcore for you but Animation/Film/Movie director has to adopt this kind of thinking. Just remember this quote "If the movie is not connect, the audience will not believe it." The problem lies at AGE director story telling.

  • @kducpham I don't try to take AGE seriously, It isn't UC (which while I love UC I couldeasily tear it apart in someareas). And I see where you are coming from. The only reason I'm lax on age is (again) because no one's ever done a multi-generation story. The guys at Level 5 aren't going to get it perfectly right. I see this as more of a learning experience for the production team really. For Gundam to branch out and experiment means there will be mistakes (how the UE entered colonies half assed)

  • @SageofTalos Multi-generations story is not that unique. You can find plenty of them, in other form, it's just that they are stretch it out to have more space to develop the character and the audiences love to see a boy grown up through time and how the environment affect him. But Age is just scale it down that make it totally lack of story maneuver. That's why the scene of Flit mother death can be more than just a flash back. The way the approach is plain and straightforward.

  • @kducpham Because they have to zip the storry down, they have to cut off the time of 3 movies into 1 single 50 ep serie. In other word, imagine how you zip 3 part of Lord of the Ring into 3 hours, the quality of course will drop. It's not experiment actually, it's jumping the steps.

  • @kducpham I already told you, It's new for Gundam. Of course multi-generation stories are nothing new. However, Gundam Unicorn currently has most of the budget, so we won't see a longer series most likely. This story indeed would have been better with about 50 more episodes (in spite of the fact it would take 2 years to air it all).

  • @SageofTalos Did gundam get influence from a Universal Story set ? Why do they have to continue experiment when it is already written in the book ?

  • @kducpham neither of these questions make sense, could you refphrase them in english instead of Internese?

  • @SageofTalos The audiences are the one who watch the show. Multi-generation is already been exploited and they expect twisted story such as Code Geass, strong character with strong personality. That make the show worth the time they spend.Even with multi generation, the selling point is not there. People didn't come to the cinema to watch 3 generation participate in one war with same old story: Anti-war. No, the way they portrait the war scale is fine, but it doesn't look like "War"

  • @kducpham It's Gundam, I'd say half the stories (aside from MS Igloo, 0080, and 08th MS team) really look like "war". I'm surprised you don't realize how formulaic Gundam has become in its 33 year run. I'd like to end this argument now, Gundam AGE (and every Gundam sereis) is entertainment, that doesn't limit it in the seriousness of the themes, but it is made to entertain. AGE feels more Shonenesque than previous AU installments-which may be detrimental, but this is clearly not for everyone.

  • @kducpham (read this first) This show (like other Gundam shows before are designed to bring in new fans. Kids that are 10-13 might not be familiar with the banalities and cliches that make up Gundam from time to time. All AGE offers is a somewhat different Take on Gundam. Nothinmg more, nothing less.

  • @SageofTalos Yes, AGE was design "mainly" for kid, that's clear like day. From what I've learned, they jumped the steps, they disconnected the character development and they made plot flaws that is vital for a show to be aired on TV or cinema. I doubt AGE success in attracting kids even though it already drive off the hardcore fans from the beginning.

  • @SageofTalos Do you know they already set another project on Origin gundam in motion ? Afaik, Sunrise is concentrating on this project more than Age. I think you are mistaken Age's selling point here. Why should the audiences expect that 3 generations in one will bring something out ? If they are intended to make a "fast food" serie, I would lol hard.

  • @kducpham Yeah, I knew about the Gundam Origin OVA in the making. Gundam Age is solely to bring in a younger audience and broaden the fandom. It's only another AU to add to the Gundam mythos soBandai can sell models bolstered a somewhat engaging story. THAT is AGE's selling point (just like every last Gundam show).

  • Comment removed

  • @kducpham apparently you haven't been watching the show. SPOILERS Yes Age does have cheerful light hearted moments but so do other Gundams, including Seed. However, Age also has colonies being blown up, violent scenes with blood, Flit's losing his optimistic attitude and giving in to his hatred for the Vagan, the corruption of the Earth Federation, Grodek being imprisoned despite revealing the truth about the UE and winning, and ep 14 character death which is well done despite the short run time

  • @ReverieExodus You are wrong. I've watched the show every week. I don't need your spoil. Flit turn up and old man but I give the staff 4/10 point for their character development. They are jumping up the step here which make Flit become a kid with beards.

  • @ReverieExodus Their logic is mess up in ep 14. Flit has 2 kids for god sake but he still hate the UE for killing his first love. Man, he's too depress and to childish for a main character. Let me tell you, in Age, everything were built to support the main character, they exist for that sole purpose too. This self-center story is too boring in this era, we have seen too many B movie like this that make the story less convincing.

  • @ReverieExodus I rate Asemu better than his father. He's not going around and order people like a rich brat but still, he open his cockpit in the latest episode. I said that it's stupid. In real fight, pilots is forbidden to open their cockpit and chat with the enemies at all cost. 00 teach you the lesson that it's easy to kill a pilot and steal his MS.

  • @kducpham Setsuna opened his cockpit in the 7th episode of the first season and Graham Aker did the same thing in their last battle. And my comment about G gundam was to point out how there are different ways to go about Gundam and because you compared Age with Power Rangers. And need I remind you how Char and Amuro were affected by Lalah's death. Mars was part of a colonization effort so they most likely were trying to turn it into a habitable planet, which the Vagan have.

  • @kducpham Also Asemu isn't a soldier and in 00 the Gundams were locked with a registration system, Ali only was able to steal a gundam because of Ribbons help. The UE The Age system doesn't have unlimited resources, they take raw materials and convert them into weapons, they don't just appear. And those series that you've pointed out aren't tv series, they're OVAs. The story of Age isn't completely centered on just Flit anymore than Seed was centered on Kira, Zeta on Kamille, and MSG on Amuro.

  • @ReverieExodus Get the hell to your sense. Most of the setting, even character was create to propel the main character, that's all.

  • @kducpham We've seen Grodek's side of the story and learned more about the Vagan. The UE are able to get into the colony because they have infiltrated it and kept them hidden. There are numerous ways they could have smuggled them in and the Federation doesn't care about their colonies safety. Gundam may be a war story, but that doesn't mean kids can't understand it. Whatever, I'm done with filling this page. You can have the last word but at least use proper grammar and put some thought into it.

  • @ReverieExodus The last word is "It's a bad show !" End of discussion.

  • @kducpham Finally, yes Gundam has always been targeted for kids, thats why Gundams don't have a realistic color scheme for war. The original Gundam was supposed to be mostly gray. Bright colors look more appealing to kids, something that the toy companies had in mind. The only one that looks realistic is the Unicorn and thats targeted towards older UC fans. The Gundamn podcast, Gundam mania, and numerous other reviewers know that Gundam is targeted towards kids. Watch or listen to them.

  • @ReverieExodus Gundam has other tactic to aim at kid, mainstream gundam serie always look for war and conflict to put in something to make people think about the meaning beyond the scene. That's why kid can't just understand these things if they haven't seen it in their real life. That's why they always have SD show to aim at the kids. The other shows may aim at kid but they didn't make it clear or a very little part of it. But in Age they increase the kid influence, ok ?

  • @227ujo Clearly I did, all he did was rant about how "Gundam was designed as a kids show" and state his opinion that AGE is HARDCORE TO THE MAXX. I still disagree, and I think this particular gundam series does not appeal to me. Because stupidly large noses and hair, yeah, that's REAL gritty. It doesn't matter that his mother was burned alive, or whatever. It's like saying watching gorilla warfare played out by the teletubbies is realistic and exciting. That's what I'm getting at here.

  • @227ujo In short, go watch Unicorn and the rest of the series you idiot. You clearly didn't get what I mean. If you are Sunrise employee who was hired to feed or troll, then I can get it. If you are not, you have no brain at all.

  • I understand if they start childish and end at 00 or unicorn animation style

  • @227ujo and it happen in 15 s of the show time. Not something worth to talk about. You should stop watching children show already. We have a mother holding her baby being burn by a beam in Unicorn and she's not even a main char but that moment kick your tiny "tragedy" out of the gundam series. Grow some brain if u are not Sunrise employee.

  • Hey look, the dislike bar is a red lightsaber

  • @SageofTalos Yes i had

  • AGE is almost Zeta level in !GrimDark

  • Seed is forever horrible, Got to give it to Unicorn

  • @Dragonlancer97 It's still better than Age.

  • we want a complicated story and appropriate character that not looks like a toddler. like 'seed destiny' and '00'.

  • @IndoJaps 00 waqs pretty good but SEED Destiny sucked. AGE's plot may be straightforward but at least it isn't half-assed like SEED destiny.

  • Gundam Unicorn is by far the best of the new Gundam series. Long Live The Universal Century.

  • Gundam age proves to be one of the best right now

  • WTF is wrong with gundam now a day , Gundam 00 and Seed,D is the real shit ..

  • @andytube0613 Have you seen any other gundam series other than the ones you've listed?

  • Gundam 00 definitely best

  • why did you do this?!?!?? why did you ruin everything gundam stands for!?!?! XO!!! why!!!! after such a great gundam series (gundam 00) why do you have to throw out this garbage?!!? this is almost as bad as those stupid ass 3D gundam whos names i cant even remember because it was so crapppy@!!!@@@:@@ im in rage mode!! QQ~!

  • @xXlBi0lXx Do your homework dumbass. Every few shows/OAVs they do something to apeal to a younger audiance. ZZ Gundam, Victory Gundam, 0080, Gundam X and even G Gundam were all aimed at younger audiances. Thats because gundam is meant for kids and teens. NOT ADULTS. The sooner you realise that the better.

  • ............

  • i admit i thought this looked stupid, but it gets so much better when they go after the UE space fortress

  • This a good show.

  • @armydude102 Agreed

  • Ya know why not just remake every fucking gundam show to look like 00???? would look pretty =3

  • I can't believe that this is actually so fucking shit!

  • @Angelfollower1232 lolwut

  • This looks like a cross between SD gundam and Gundam 0080...i'm usually not in the habit of judging things before I see them. But I honestly doubt i'll like this one. I loved almost every gundam with the exception of the 2 I mention earlier.

  • I hate the new character models.

  • Ok so just watched the 1st 3 eps.... thay riped off gundam seed opening.... gay

The characters look like something out of a cheap ps3 rpg....

So fare the best part of the show has bin the song at the end of it.

  • @x010Justice And Gundam Seed ripped off the original, 0079.

  • @x010Justice Except... it's been done before as well. Plus AGE did it better.

  • well we all no this will suck the younger the kids in the gundam the more it will suck. The kid here looks like he is 12....

This has nothing and i mean NOTHING on gundam wing sundam seed or gundam 00

oh well guy looks like we have 2 more years befor something decent in the gundam world might be out =(

  • @x010Justice Have you bothered to watch it? I'm no AGE fanboy (although i think the series is alright) the first protag shown here is actually 14. The current protag right now is 17. Also, Unicorn is out and it's not bad, it's more mature in some regards and is pretty well done so far so something decent has been out, people like you have been either ignoring it or haven't yet seen some of the older series.

  • @SageofTalos I think he's just plain ignorant. Specially this fanboy notion that gundam should cater to them. Gundam TV shows are meant to apeal to kids and teens and OAVs are usually meant to apeal to the whole family. It is never going to apeal to whiney fanboys like him.

  • @MaximalElder26 yeah, it just shows how spoiled anime fans really are. And I thought thyat only the Sonic fanbase was this bad-Hell it looks civilized compared to this! Who woulda thought a fanbased who prided themselves on watching a "mature" series would gripe with IQ reducing comments? These guys have to be bitching mroe than the kids this show is geared towards -_-

  • 00 (Q) was pretty cool. But I gotta say the favourite has to be Strike Freedom!

  • BURNING GUNDAM FVCKS UP EVERYONE ELSE'S!!

  • Why's there so much negativity about this series? If you want to complain about a shitty series, look at Gundam 00 season 2 and Awakening of the Trailblazer. Give this show a chance, will you? We did for Gundam 00, and then look what happened. Geeze.

  • @mluzon628 00 is a fan favorite, it won't get much hate. These haters have nothing better to do I guess. That's probably why they're still complainging about a series they never probably have bothered to watch.

  • I'm not talk anything bad about this, but even after more than twenty years of watching and enjoying the Gundam franchise, nothing comes close to Gundam Wing. Sure the fights were mostly the same with different backgrounds, but the characters, the story, the mobile suits were top notch. Zechs Merquise wants you to thumb up this :)

  • Comment removed

  • This shit's not cool...By now the younger ppl who are true gundam fans are 20 years old + Why not make pilots more older looking to relate to a mature audience. Like gundam 00, or at least seed.

  • @MrViciousway The Ignorance is strong with this one, but his force is weak.

Look dumbass there's no such thing as a true gundam fan. Just saying that shows your ignorance. Gundam has been on air for over 30 years. They have to apeal to younger people in order to keep its fanbase going. There will always be young pilots in the gundams, there will always be a war. Its their formula and its worked for 30 years. They are not going to change it because of some whiney little pissant like you.

  • More like, Age 13 gundam...wtf happened after 00?? couldnt' they have waited to make something better..?

  • @MrViciousway Why are you guys still complaining about this show? It's been going on for months and nothing has changed. Get over it if you don't like it.

  • @MrViciousway And Victory Gundam had a 12 year old pilot but the series he was in was one of the bloodiest. Wing had a kid look as well.

  • its gd tht they doing a new series but for this to follow up from gundam 00? its like pushing back to its originality and to me its not a good follow up though but hey i may be wrong, i originally thought gundam 00 wasnt gg to be a success but it did, but i think this one's a little too astroboy-ish, digimon-ish or maybe pokemon-ish to be gundam right? i mean its my opinion anyways

  • @WWEmaniac It definitely isn't. In fact episode 13 and 14 are a combo of awesome, sadness, and fucking creepy

  • @Girintina Those episodes were pretty balling.

  • I was here Jun 13 2011, saying that UE weren't aliens.

Everyone kept saying "uh-hu. no bro, they're aliens, Gundam's ruined".

i'm back just to remember them that i was right.

  • back to the root with the animation style huh? no new gundams? copying old ones? and they look old and cheap and outdated 2, also a 5 year old pilot? WTF

  • is every series going forward going to have a gundam that's a homage to the 78-2?

  • @TheAmbition23 Yup. They've been making leads resemble the RX-78 either in by colors as well as design since Zeta Gundam.

  • @TheAmbition23 Gundam Unicorn doesn't

  • Gundam AGE is sadly underrated thanks to a bunch of idiots whining about gundam 00 and crappy Seed is so much better than this.

  • @227ujo It does not matter what it was geared towards. I am not arguing against who the show is geared towards, you are. I am simply arguing that the animation style, and the character/mecha designs are not "Gundam" in MY PERSONAL OPINION. I watched the video. I am still not being an idiot. I came to this video, and expressed my opinion that "Gundam has taken a new direction, one that I don't necessarily like." You took that as being "OMG DIS R SHEET I R HAET GUNDAHM!"

  • Gundam 00 Is The Best Of This Generation Thumbs Up If You Agree

  • @YouNeedAnime along with gundam seed series

  • @WWEmaniac I Can Agree To That To

  • @YouNeedAnime Wait, you've seen Awakening of the Trailblazer, right?

  • @mluzon628 yes why you asked?

  • @YouNeedAnime 00 is really one of the gayist

  • @brandonvandyke22 its my favorite and zeta gundam

  • @YouNeedAnime I disagree. I do love 00. However, the UC is where Gundam really shines. 0079, 08th MS Team, 0080, 0083, Zeta, ZZ, Chars Counter Attack, Unicorn, F91.

  • @theangusbugg I wouldn't say CCA being the best of UC. It looked nice, but most of it wasn't that great. Fucking Quess and Hathaway...

  • @MisterHeroman lol.

  • @YouNeedAnime The original SEED (not shitty Destiny) was better. Of all time I would have to say the 08th MS Team.

  • @YouNeedAnime unicorn

  • @Exia1011 nah.. gundam unicorn is bad either

  • @227ujo Too cutesy, does not mean "My little pony" levels of cute. You're the fucking moron for being unable to discern that if you start at, for completely argumentative purposes, face melting, dismemberment, and rape. Then move slightly away to a program that just contains face melting, and dismemberment. It has become in effect less gritty, and more "cutesy". When compared to UC Gundam, this is cutesy. Please, learn how to interpret properly before you go running your mouth about people.

  • I hated this Gundam series before, but now I'm more then willing to give it a chance. I'm looking forward collecting the models for this series.

  • is it just me? or does the protagonists in this vid look a lot like the ones from the last macross series?
