Here's what happened in 14: Paige gets kidnapped by that guy in the car. She's taken to a yacht. Eventually Greg and her father rescue her. Val is kidnapped and taken to Florida. Gary rescues her. Anne believes she is pregnant with Greg's child so he marries her. She finds out she's not pregnant but tries to become so. Her tall Italian boyfriend shows up and steals a fortune from Greg. Val and Gary are back together. Abbey returns and moves back into Knotts Landing.
@Sent2work Actually Gary didn't rescue Val. He was in a car chase in Florida to save "Val" but there was an accident and everyone thought she was dead when in fact it was the wife of one of the kidnappers that died. Val didn't return until the second to last episode of the series.
@lotuspoint I know you asked this question over a year ago but I will answer it since no one els has. I was following the state of Knot's landing very closely in these days because show's ratings had dropped dramatically in this season and the network was considering canceling the show. However, Knot's was pulled early this season adn went off the air in early April instead of late May as usual. The show was confirmed for a 14th season but with fewer episodes.
@hshawn00 - You're absolutely right about the April finish that year.
I live in the UK and also remember vividly reading the news in September 1992 that the new season starting in the U.S that fall would be the last. I know it sounds crazy but I was in shock for days after lol.
@Knotsbob Oh itdoesn't sound crazy at all. I grew up watching this show and loved it more than the other primetime soaps. The other primetime soaps dealt with too many business storylines and I've always found most business storylines to be boring. I loved, loved, loved knots landing and I was devastated when it was canceled.
I know that this was the season that had its problems.I dont think It was all bad.

@Sent2work Actually, Paige was saved in the car by Alex Barth. It was the season before that she was kidnapped by Pierce and taken on the yacht.
