  • such an underrated producer, can't say ive ever heard a bad tune from him

  • @Airz94 Martyn? Underrated? You have to be kidding. I'm a big fan of his work, but everyone is talking about him and his music is not really _that groundbreaking. Everyone's churning the same dubstep-house-techno crossovers these days.

  • Art music.

  • DIB

    DOB

    DUB

    STEP

  • If Theo Parrish would make dubstep it would probably sound like this..

  • @trailextremist take your comments to the skrillex page we dont do those over here this is dubstep

  • I'm in love with such deep music, music for Saturday evenings.

    enjoy

  • As I walk into the room...my mind wanders. Catch the reflection...latté complexion. Brazilian cocoa-butter honey.....yeah. :)

  • NAZI COMPLEXION

  • Brilliant 12". Love the B-Side also! I like Martyns post DnB Productions alot. Very very good sounding tunes!

  • Dubstep, as it should be

    Martyn, Eindhovens Proud!

  • fuckin great

  • the reason it doesn't sound like dubstep to you is because this isnt the shitty dubstep you and your friends listen to?

  • yeh this isnt dubstep, where's the generic LFO bassline & guy ritchie movie samples?

  • @nyarlathotep99

Its fast... there are lot of brakes... lot of delay.... lot of verb.... and a dubby baseline ?

so why the hack it schouldnt be dubstep ???

  • @schore69 it was joke fool. and a damn good one jhahaha. good shit nyarldgfhretagaafg99

  • @nyarlathotep99 hahahaha all these unwashed kids think they know what dubstep is because they heard benga at a club. you got lots of mind expanding to do young ones.

  • @nyarlathotep99 haha good one ;p

  • Qué horror

  • @estacadugan dame un ejemplo de lo que te gusta a ti!

  • big up Martyn shouts from germany

  • I remember first hearing this. Damn near blew my head clean off. What a tune!

  • Kdnce is way off :D

  • wicked tune, deep

  • It's not impotant what it's called, I can understand you can call it 2step because of the kick on de 1st, the snare on the third and the tempo that's a little bit higher makes it sound like that. But actually everyone makes his own discription so it's not really usefull to argue about that. However this music really is nice, nice&deep . that's more important to me. big up to martyn!

  • this tune could loop all day I wouldn't get bored

  • more dubstep should sound like this.

why isnt more dance music more about making you want to move, rather than forcing you.

  • seriously! love this duuub

  • @buckbumble yup fucking agreed. dark and deep is the killa. fuck all thus new type, like that new modestep tunr ukf. shit i tell you shit!

  • @timsurftim i WISH more people agreed with that view. I try to tell all these kids around here that same thing! They all say i'm full of shit, but I HATE when all these new little hipster kids just jump on the dubstep bandwagon and listen to rusko ,datsik, and modestep shit dubstep. It's fucking ruining the genre.

  • @Cornbreadddd cheers mate. all about the rythm!

  • @buckbumble fuckin exactly

  • @buckbumble one of the best sentence I read on youtube mate

  • @buckbumble Beautifully said.

  • Great Lengths is worth listening too, very diverse, very cool vocals on there too

  • nice tune,

i'd be happy with this if I was him!!!

  • Excellent tune, excellent album...

  • just discovered martyn..and every tune got something i love..

  • lol, dubstep doesn't have to be wobbley or heavy.. this is dubstep, just a little deeper than the usual bull poo that;s out there

  • I agree dubstep can and should exist w/o all the damn warble bass. Such a traditional Junglist attitude to have a single bass timbre define an ENTIRE genre (i.e. Reese bass anyone?!?). Sheesh enough homogenizing the f'ing sound already you tasteless, uncreative, copycat morons. That and sampling movies. Ugh

Having said that this imo is not dubstep. There are really zero dub fx or dub/reggae elements in the song. I feel those must exist on some level for a track to be considered a dubstep track.

  • @Kdnce dub just means stripped down to bass and drum which is why el-b and horsepower productions the starters of dubstep didn't really have anny reggae elements. it was just dark 2-step without mid-range

  • @djredi2step "dub just means stripped down to bass and drum"

No, you're wrong although it can seem like that.

Actually dub is the term for an instrumental version of a song. The term comes from reggae. It has blossomed into a wonderful genre but that's where it started. Don't get it twisted. I don't care what people label their music until I am browsing YouTube waching videos and I see a title that intrigues me due to the specific choice of words they use. Next I open it and find it is false

  • let's just call it deepstep haha

  • @maluku077

why not called it Dubstep because thats what it is.

  • @TheBlackOpsNoob or just music

  • indeed, i'm starting to dislike those wobblestep tracks...nothing _DUBBY_ there:)

  • who cares man?

    its just nice.

  • big tune

  • perfect tune :D

  • niCe =)
