Panasonic SDR-H80 70x - HDD New Video Camera with secret location

I have this camera but I cant open some video files on my computer...

the file extension is .cont

can anyone help me to find an appropiate codec to open my videos from my computer?

i've got a panasonic sdr-h80....i can copy videos from the hdd to the pc but i can't copy files prom pc to the camera....it says its write-protected.... can you give me some advice how to remove it?

Mmkay, I JUST got the Panasonic SDR-S26 for Christmas yesterday. I am trying to get my vids onto youtube. I can't find the files on the SD card that have the vids, I can only find my pics. Is better u buy Digital Camera Panasonic Lumix TZ7 12x zooming, for shooting Drama. It sound crazy for u but the quality vidoe far better and sound pick-up are better than SDR-H80.

Yeah, I feel it sounds crazy too, I didnt expect a Camera to be the better of a camcorder in recording videos. But I did see this second camcorder, I dont remember the name but its description was, A built in focus zoom-mike, a faster focus lens, and is about RM1,900, Looks a little bulgy.

Made more working paper before u buy one, search more on youtube. Only few unit are working perfect. See Canon cam RM 5,000.00 above.

Not sure if this is on a tripod though? i would think this would make a big difference...

I tried it in the store yesterday and at 70X Zoom the hand shake it way less than a Sony at 50X. Panasonic has what they call "Advanced Optical image stabilization" i didnt buy it at BestBuy because they have a 15% re-stocking fee, so waiting for someone else to buy it and review it online.

For normal user, buy Panasonic digital camera TZ7 with 12x zoom HD movies picture more sharp in HD, try it. U won't regret.

Given the high volume required for FULL HD recording your 4GB SD card will be full in no time, at this moment any FULL HD video camera without a Hard disk with SD card only is not practical....
