I never understand why there is so much arguing/yelling at each other on old videos of AFI. You're not better than someone else or "more of a fan" if you only like older AFI and think they're "sellouts." If you don't like their newer music, don't listen to it. I do like their older music more (AOD and BSITS) but you can't expect a person, let alone a band, to stay the same for 19 years. /rant

I agree with that a band likes and should try new things and not play the same thing over and over again. however, if you have great old songs you could just play them once and awhile. Sometimes i think they should do more stuff like BsiS and AoD in the sense of writing and feel, but I guess these darken things just dont belong (in a good sense, I hope) to their life anymore. however, a "old times are gold tour" would be bliss.

Unlike the others complaining, I was actually at this show and had heard of AFI back in the "old days". Though I don't sit around longing for the days I wasn't apart of, I still back AFI as sometimes bands "progress".. I like what they have progressed into.

i personally like the 2002 - 2007 era myself too....but jeez..back then Davey could really sing. Its too bad that they've become almost pop. Its sad, because Davey used to be such an inspirational punk rocker, and now? he wants nothing to do with it. I read in an interview that the rest of the band wants to play more old stuff, but davey feels "thats not what A fire inside is about anymore." :discouragedface:....
