Can you help me with something? The University I study in has a VPN network and windows users can hook up and connect via VPN and use the internet. But Mac users have to pay for a different VPN network. Why cant a Mac connect to certain VPN connections? Is it possible that there is a technical reason or are the douche bags in the office just making Mac users pay for a service?
@AnishRaees I think by default Macs want to use a protocol like L2TP, but they can be configured to use PPTP which is the usual protocol Windows users would use. So you need to find out from your Uni which protocol their VPN Servers are using, then google how to configure a Mac to use that Protocol.
