Gotta say when these two are fighting near the front, there is always chaos. I am always on Neal's side. Plato is dirty (Neal is too, take Brands 2010 finale, when he put MacDowall wide). Plato prolly cut the chicane and used Turkington as an excuse. Knowing Plato you could tell he would 'accidentally' run into Chilton (who is much better). Plato is a good driver but is only won the championship because the car is far better and if he's in second then in a few laps the leader will have crashed.

i am a plato fan and a neal fan i renumber watching this and thinking that it was a bit too much from plato but having said that neal has done a bit of ramming and door bashing in his time so i think both drivers can push a bit too much at times when they see the opportunity to win or place well but all this is in the nature of btcc this is why we watch it .

i am a plato fan but i also like gio but waht annoys me the most was that someone as good as gio was assured a championship thanks to matt neal and his selfishness and regret for not being part of the championship fight.

Every comment slating Plato on here has been voted down as a "poor comment", well I'm going to join them all on this anyway. When I watched this race live I simply could not believe what I was seeing him get away with, there is a big difference between "rubbing" and "ramming", and Plato genuinely seems to believe he has some sort of ramming license.

I think that Plato was right to push Neal. Neal let pass the two Vauxhall, but not Plato. It was the only means for Plato of passing Neal

Because Matt Neal isn't the king of the world. He hs no right to hand out advantages as and when he chooses. At the end of the day, the point of a championship is to find out who is best at something. This year, that wasn't Matt, so he should let us, the viewers find out who is. Matt is a bad loser and if he had been in Platos postion and Plato had been letting Gio past, Matt and his dad would have thrown the toys out of the pram.

If this is the last chance for you to win the championship, what will you do? Be a gentleman or an asshole? If a race driver can be pushed off the track easily, is he or she a good race driver? Think for yourself. If a race driver has ability beyond other drivers, he can win with style and grace. But what if most of driver and team have similar ability. Of course the competition is going to be keen.

Jason was in his rights to push Matt Neal off. Neal waved both Vauxhall's through because he is driving for them next year. It was all end of term fun and Neal and Plato have always been hard chargers. Jason drove fantastic that day dispite having injuries. Gutted for Plato but glad Gio won he deserved it too, just as long Neal doesn't win that's fine with me.
