That was one thing that I didn't like about this incarnation of the Joker--he wasn't very funny, well, except for a few particular bits like the disappearing pencil which were hilarious. The Joker didn't enjoy what he did enough. The awesome thing about other Jokers like Nicholson, Hamill, and even Caesar Romero is that they found the humor in their evil deeds. Ledger barely cracked a smile in the whole movie. That said, the character was cool as hell.

Yeah, I know someone that really like Batman Begins, but didn't want to watch the Dark Knight because out of fear of the Joker. Hell, Doug put Heath Ledger as the Joker at #4 on his top 11 scariest performances, and says the guy in the #3 slot only barely beat him.

yea your right about one thing this movie wether anyone likes it or not was just one of THE darkest batman movies ever I watched it all the way through and at the end I was like wow anyway keep up the great work review bum:)

In all the other reviews, he's just happy and wacky, but in this review, he's not much of that, which just makes this review another great one. The Dark Knight was an incredible film!
