MAC Studio Mist Foundation Application

hi jasmine. I am indian as well with dark skin. I use mac nc50 studio fix powder. Do you think I should use two shades of foundation if i were to buy a mac liquid foundation? the areas around my mouth are dry and darker (hv eczema around my mouth) than the rest of my face. also my forehead is a tad darker.

Is there anywhere I can find this foundation in the US? It isn't available at MAC Pro stores anymore :(

Princesspalvi, why do you want to lighten your skin? I find this very worrying that you are not happy with the lovely colour that you are. If you have dicolouration or scars it is acceptable to lighten those areas using fade out creams, otherwise learn to love your colour or you'll never be happy with your looks.

heyy since you started the topic lol, i was just wondering, do you recommend any creams to lighten acne scars and hyperpigmentation? i have been using DDF brightening cleanser and its not too effective. Also, what mac shade are you?

mac consultant told me to spray this on a sponge not directly on your face

You must do whatever you feel comfortable with, sponge or direct. I find it works best sprayed on and then brushed. I trained with airbrush make up so I am probably more confident with this technique.

I was told to not spray directly on face too, but it makes since that if an airbrush is used to spray on makeup why not spray this directly. Also it means you don't waste it by spraying your hand or other and then using a brush, etc(like I do. ) Great tip. I will try this. I have the foundation and the blushes. :)

It's great for all skin types as it is so light and doesn't aggravate the skin. Just use the correct moisturiser underneath (oil free for oily skin or rich for dry)

It's ok, but use concealer first or afterwards if you need to. I find it covers fine but if I had a red bit then I would use concealer too.
