In dual wield maxed you can have longswords in both hands, or maces or whatever.

But I'm wondering if thats really good or not, maybe 2x dagger is better even than 1x longsword and 1x dagger like what zevran starts with.

is the cunning build better for rogue archers as well? getting mixed answers about it. some say max dex. others say max cunning with lethality

Why are you using Dual Daggers Instead of Dual Longswords? you have a Cunning/Dexterity build? I think im level 21 or 22, I Have 56 Dex and 67 Cunning with all my gear on, My Attack Damage is Greater with longswords (Grey Wardens Companion Dragon bone-Grade) Requires no STR my str is 13, than with Dragon bone-grade daggers. And the Attack speed is the Same, So tell me, why do you use daggers? they must be really good daggers, or you simply are too lazy to get a Decent set of longswords?

@rossjadon Daggers have higher critical chance and armor penetration. And the attack speed is not the same with long swords as it is with daggers. And with a max Cunning build you should get a greater damage with dual daggers then you would with Dual Longswords.

Its not all about base damage, daggers have better penetration + critical chance and crow dagger even gives +15% critical damage, and daggers require no strength stat to wield, and you don't have to max the dual wielded matery line. So you could use those points to activate for example coup de grace or the ability that allows you to use cunning instead of str stat for damage.
