I just played this game from start to finish last night, it took roughly only 3hrs 50mins. Brought back some old memories, but just doesn;t really do it for me now I've seen the graphics and physics engine in HL2! Imagine GC with the Source engine graphics and physics!

Major Archer ordered the retreat and they had no weapons to combat the Xenomes. Not to mention they also had broken communications.

And you cannot judge even though he put Xenomes on inhabited planets and not just the gunmen?

Haha I remember when I was like 7 or something and my dad showed me this, back then the intro scared the hell out of me and I ran in to my room lol. I think it was because I felt sorry for the soldiers being eaten or something like that Hehe ^^. But besides the intro I loved every freakin minute of it!

it's an older game, which explains the crappy voice acting. It was not at all a bad game, really. I remember vaguely a gun with cocktails you had to mix etc

The intro video is pretty good, and you lay it out on youtube in the best of the best quality (5 stars!)

- hope that Sierra would make a new game of the Gunman Chronicles, and I would buy it! But Rewolf Software doesn't exist any more :(

This might be a modification of half-life but its not just one, its a damn good one too, this classic game shouldnt be leaven on someones desk forgotten, i hope they make a new Gunman so we can play it online, or anyway to make this popular again. playen through this game 4 times now. As one of huge Half Life fans i also have Gunman game. I played it and i must confess game was not bad at all. It had few bugs here and there but storyline was not bad.Graphic quality and design i think were not something but all those mods on weapons were fancy. To cut the story love the intro 5 star video :)

Despite it's failings, I had a blast playing this game. The customizable weapons were a huge highlight. It has a great storyline. Even though it won't happen If they made a new version today with a totally different engine and spend much time and money I'd be blown away.

This wasn't actually in the demo, but rather a replacement in the GunmanToSteamPatch.zip of the original, slightly lower-quality version that ships on the CD-ROM. I've heard you can find this file on Streamline Studios.
