Later in life, if anybody ever asks me who my role model is, I'll always say J.R. Celski :)

@Mcpanicfanic no that was back in September during the olympic trials to get into the 2010 olympics. It's amazing how he worked so hard to still be able to compete in the olympics after that. It was so scary how much blood was gushing out, if I was there I would have been screaming like his mom was.

Seeing this video, then how he got up and never quit trying (then winning the bronz medel!) gives me the inspiration to do the same. I injured my neck and back in a car crash and I was on steroids that didnt help( I cant even explain how sick they made me). This kid is so inspiring. I just can't get over it. I want to cry everytime I hear about his injury how he's overcome it. His humility amazes me. There needs to be more humble, honest young people like J.R. Everytime I see the video of his injury, I freak out at first because it looks so scary, but then I realize what he must've been going through and I find it absolutely amazing that after such a short amount of time, he's back on the ice and in his first Olympics. Just absolutely amazing. :)
