@thebige234 like most jumpers, your hop is probably too long or too high. if not, you may not be getting your takeoff and swing legs into proper position. you could also be striking incorrectly. if those aren't the reasons, then it is most likely a strength issue. i'd have to see a video to really help
@steelerfan786 Is flexibility a very big thing for the step phase - getting into that position and hanging that Tamgho does? If so what are the key muscle groups to improve for triple jump in general?
@ky93le key to a good step phase is maintaining speed through the hop phase. then, you need an aggressive scissor action, pretension of the hamstrings is key, and a good drive from your swing leg in the step phase
