I enjoyed your video! You have organized your thoughts and give clear examples and its great to see a young musician who knows his craft!Between playing and teaching you will go far!!keep it up and make more videos..:)
@MattiaSciannella What language is that? I tried online translators, and it looks like it's Italian. But online translators suck. What exactly did you say?
Could you please post another video showing the Robert Trujillo alternate finger picking technique? I see what your first finger is doing in the “Bass Speed Picking Exercises and tips” but I don't get what the second finger should be doing. If you could show a few runs in slow motion from the side and the front that would be awesome. Thanks again your videos are awesome!
@Melvin2007able I'll try...the thing is, that technique is pretty hard to show in slow mo. It just lends itself to speed picking automatically. But, I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
@TechSmack I checked out that tune. I'd never heard of Pinback. Can you tell me more or less at what point in my video that happens? I posted it a long time ago, and right now I don't have more time to watch (I'm at work.)
@TechSmack Ah, thanks. Well, that's a rather typical minor 7th chord, in this case a B-7 (the notes are B-A-D). It would sound similar no matter who used it. :-) A chord's a chord. But, anyway...thanks.
your can also play with 4 fingers on the right hand.. i do that .. and if you like hit down on the string instead of plucking it normaly and try to move mostly the middle joint of your fingers you can go rly fast. check out the bass player of Origin, Mike Flores, he has alot of great speed techniques

@PNDRaaaz I sold that bass over a year ago. But, if I recall correctly, it's an Ibanez SRX 390.

@Robster881 It's an Ibanez SRX390. I don't think they make them anymore. I got it on a closeout sale. It does look and sound pretty good.

this is an excellent video for beginners learning them some techniques they need, and some handy tips for those who have played for some time.
the order of what you show when could be different but a good cover it all vid.
