great vid. now honestly, if you have a viper, you still end up with a dodge. if you have a gallardo, you end up with a lamborghini. obviously in reality lamborghini > dodge. the vipers been impressive and great around the track since its birth. this has enormous power, but so does the Bugatti Veyron, SSC Ultimate Aero, and the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition...and theyre stock, this viper isnt and considering that, its still amazing in my opinion. in a straight line, no doubt itll fly, but not in NY lol

I used to not believe in american muscle for shit in terms of handling and track-worthiness, but when you see a viper take the top spot on the Nurburgring and KILL every other car that raced for the top spot, then see a 'Vette take the #2, It'll change your mind. You know, I went to a car meet one day and people showed off their cars and other people would praise them and give them encouragement about how well they kept their cars, how nice they were and stuff. But nowadays on the internet, all people do is talk crap about other cars. That's all I ever see. Why would you ever say a car is a piece of sh*t. These people pay lots of money for these cars and put time and effort into them. You sad, sad people.

They have the Aston Martin for performance and thats it, no I'm not a snob thats an amazing car I'd kill for one but, the top supercars in the world are Italian and German. Yes the Dodge Viper is an impressive car, can it stack to Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti- No. American Muscle wins on the 5 mile straight track, but if you got more then its foreign

@xany2009 The viper actually can hang with lambo and ferrari. You obviously don't keep up with todays cars. Viper GTS ACR has one of the fastest production car time around the nurburgring race course. Close behind was Pagani Zonda, Ferrari Enzo, Nissan GT-R, Koenigsegg CCX, Porsche GT!!!! You really didn't think American cars can be built to take corners? Basically lambos ferraris and buggatti were all beaten by the dodge viper.

I was actually just about to say that. I used to not believe in american muscle for shit in terms of handling and track-worthiness, but when you see a viper take the top spot on the Nurburgring and KILL every other car that raced for the top spot, then see a 'Vette take the #2, It'll change your mind. Plus look up 'Dodge Viper Nurburgring' and you'll see the vid from inside. Sure its clear the guy isn't a perfect driver but the fact that Dodge won while sandbagging it means something

@xany2009 I have to add more since you bashed the brits on not making performance cars. The fastest production car at the moment comes from the Brits i the form of the Radical SR8LM. You need to do more research next time, a LOT more.

Bashing the Brits seriously, half of my family is British. And I did indeed give them credit for their performance vehicle. But its a driving car, not a race car. So don't be coy.

You also said American cars are only good for a straight line which is a very dumb statement, since American supercars have been competing and beating euro cars.

@astonmartinman your right, it is the fastest, but not the quickest - so what do you want with a car that drives more than 400 if you have a looong straight?! i'd rather have the quickest out there - would probably be the weineck 780cui cobra (0-300kph in just under 10sec - no tcs, no esp, absolutely PURE and RAW!

oh well I never claimed it was the quickest! The weineck is quite a car, but I've never been too big a fan of the cobra body styling. I know it's an American masterpiece, but it's just not my thing. I agree though that acceleration is more important! That's what you're going to use more when going around the corners in a race to jump ahead, or just to flaunt what you have on the streets haha
