Only a complete idiot would rely on facebook for file storage, I wouldn't even trust online file storage in just one place. This is so blatently obvious is it really necessary to do a video about it.

I wasn't aware that places and situations were creative works. Sure, the Eiffel tower is a creative work, but the artist is long dead, so it should be in the public domain.
Maybe Facebook should do what YouTube does. Remove an infringing video/picture, send you a warning that if you do it two more times, your account will be closed. That way we get less infringement, and less loneliness. Less world suck for all.

Getting backup for my pix n shit, but what about the ppl, I have family I cant EVER see in my life unless i move out of my parent's house, that I cant talk to in any other way. Fuck facebook all the way. I honestly dont care if they delete my account/disable w.e. Its a complicated feeling but I would still have my dignity and self, its not like your dead.

Suddenly Im disappeared from the face of facebook like I never existed before. You know Report links is all over facebook youre just two mouse click away from someone reporting you 3 people reported any of your materials then youre off the facebook. So be wise back everything up, photos, all friends, comments, groups joined, pages, e2thing.

In my case this is more than just a social inconvenience as I have biz pages on FB.
As an independent business owner myself I believe that if you can't get a customer service issue resolved you take it up with the owner. Please take a moment to check my vids & join me.
True dat. I think Facebook's an especially important one to pay attention to, because so *much* data is entrusted to them (photos, and contact info), and it's become such an integral part of many people's social lives.
This hasn't been the case for me for YouTube yet, though it may be for some people. Plus, if my YouTube account is disabled, I can still enjoy my friend's videos.
David -- Your video is extremely well done -- you are very funny and telegenic -- and it got me to thinking about the safety of my images and other files. All my files on the hard drive are backed up on Carbonite, but my images are on a flash drive, which I now see is foolish, because they are so important. Many of them were purchased from istockphoto and other vendors; some were copied with permission; and lots are from various family members. So I'm going to move them to C drive ASAP. Thanks!
Thanks, Mary! There's lots of good online backup systems, too. Like Dropbox, for example. You gotta figure, if one online service screws you out of your content, the other may not :P
