  • This vid is scaring me... lol

The board is on sale on Newegg right now, 200$ instead of the usual 220$. It's not much but every bit helps. I'm just so conflicted because a part of me knows I could hold out until Z77 and Ivy Bridge comes out, but I don't know how long I can wait until this sale ends!

The price could be back to normal tomorrow.

  • hmm very goood...

  • oh no what did u do to it

  • @rb26capri turned out it was a bad PSU and it was dead.

  • Those lights should not be flashing at all. Faulty wiring, not enough power, faulty PSU, shortage, etc. I sent my corsair TX850M to RMA last week because the motherboard won't power on, and after doing the paperclip testing, PSU was dead. And I powered it on before. I didn't got flashing LED's, only fixed LEDs, but test the PSU anyway.

  • @leadpx Yeah you were correct. I did the paperclip test on my new PSU and it didn't pass... I had to send my PSU back and got another one and now the motherboard works fine. It's quite a shame that Asus customer support couldn't tell me to test that first (or know that these kind of blinking lights means the PSU is no good)

  • @Khadgar346 My new PSU came from RMA last week, now everything's fine, up and running. Good motherboard actually!

Glad you figure out your problem too :)

  • Short between the motherboard and case? check none of the power cables have shorted.
