The Iraqi people much like most Americans now realize that invading Iraq was all about oil. The Iraqi people hate us and rightfully so, we didn't liberate them we have opressed them! Our nation is guilty of war crimes. That should be a sobering thought to all of us!

How did the Iraqis manage to find the impetus to attempt the coup they were encouraged in to by the US in 1991 if they were so "broken"? What about the Kurds who were supposedly gassed by Saddam for their attempted rebellion in the 1980'S? Propaganda bullshit.

Kettenring, I don't see the reporter correcting Russert at all. I heard Russert ask a question and then the reporter answering it. In fact, the reporter agreed with Russert premise that the Americans were seen as liberators.
