  • Look, this is really simple. The fact that it is in the shape of a cross is the only reason it exists. When it was found in the basement of WTC building six, sitting upright amidst all that devastation it became in the minds of many a religious shrine. The fact that is was blessed, moved to a pedestal, placed in front of a church, and petitioned to be placed in the memorial all by christians, kind of downplays its place as an historical artifact, or secular monument.

  • The messages you read out are typical Christian love. Christians willing to kill you for their religion, like the guys who smashed planes into the two towers.

    Cheers Christine

  • @mrcheese645 probbably

  • Christianity is anything but a minority. Christianity is one of the most practiced religions in the world. Atheism is the fucking minority. All of you christians shit heads don't need to throw your selves a pitty party every time you want to make a point.

Also, you think Christians are persecuted? where the fuck have you been? if anyone has been persecuted it was the atheists and jews! Christians tried on multiple occasions to erradicate both groups. in fact, christians tried to kill everyone

  • @AtomicAardvark123 You obviously didn't WATCH the video, champ.

  • these people who coment on fox need to die kill them all and any one who tarnish the churchthis hate just make more hate from athiest its horrible we need to be more like christ like every one who are diffrent tolorate athiest as paul would say atheist should be obedient to christains and religion as religion christain should be obedient to athiest

  • i hate hate athiest who hate and fake christains who hate real christains should not hate

  • "Because Christians are so PERSECUTED and a minority that is under an imminent threat from the hundreds of millions of liberal atheists in this country."

The Jews were persecuted, you Christians are not.

  • *Facepalm*

  • wheres the comment section on the fox website? or is it facebook?

  • Fundamentalism is just scary whether it's Christian or any other faith or no faith.

  • @Tonithenightowl There's no such thing as a fundamental atheist if that's what you meant by "no faith."

  • @YOitzDK Point taken. It was a bad comparison on my part.

  • @Tonithenightowl Just pointing it out, Atheism has no set of core beliefs or principles to follow so it just wouldn't make much sense. But fundamentalism in religion IS indeed scary.

  • @YOitzDK Yes you are right. Atheists don't believe in anything religious so they can't be in the same catagory. Most will say there is simply not enough evidence to believe, but if that evidence comes about they are open to it. Fundies on the other hand will tell you you are wrong and hellbound. Sigh.

  • I choked on my water at 0:05.

  • 5:33 lol.

"KILL ALL ATHEISTS THEY ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. THEY ARE SO FULL OF HATE IT MAKES ME WANT TO GO ON A KILLING SPREE"

Thinking about how much he hates us hateful people probably gave him a stroke :P

  • Fucking disgusting.

  • I live in the UK, but as I understand it, America has the 1st amendment. That means that atheists have just as much a right to speak their mind. I may not agree with the opinions of atheists but I'll fight for the right for them to speak it. You can't have it both ways; either you want freedom of speech for everyone, or no one will be allowed to speak their minds.

  • @dave19711998 This video was made to point out hypocrisy, not censor anyone. And does the First Amendment not grant the freedom to believe what you want without having to fear being retaliated against? These people are calling for our execution, man!

  • @cmfic36 I was trying to make the same point but from a different angle. If it is not acceptable for a Muslim to threaten someone of another faith, then the same should apply to Christians as well. In the UK, there is a law against hate crimes. If someone wants to threaten someone else, they should face the consequence of their actions. You are right and the hypocrisy is obvious to everyone but the people who say these things.

  • @dave19711998 It really is simple. The American Republic exists on a foundation of one idea.

" The rights of the minority should not be subject to the will of the majority". Simple.

  • its nice to hear the comments about nailing people to the cross. finally christians are admitting that their religion is focused around human sacrifice. their holy symbol, the cross, is basicly a medieval torture device.

  • @AceofDiamonds0 They didn't use crosses in medieval times

  • Oh no not the MAGIC Groveling Sticks......

  • 3:07 Brilliant

  • Dont be a global warming dickhead, stop smoking

  • dont smoke. Science proved it is not good for your lungs;

  • you tube is the the first way to reach out people about the true truth. yes this what I said; Atheism for ever!!!!! Gosh! how I wish I was never been so indoctrinated!!!

  • this is stupid on both sides to me

  • It’s strange and somewhat disturbing that Christians who follow a religion of peace would say they want to shoot, kill, nail people to a cross, torture and rape in one breath and say Muslims are hate spreading zealots in another. Both groups are just the same worshiping a supposed merciful god and are rage hate filled fundamentalists the next. Oh you are fundamentalist, as certain muslems across the world say exactly the same thing about non-believers and you are disgusted with them. Pot kettle?

  • "Christian Love" FTW!

  • Haha. I can see why you smoke. I'm an atheist too, but I have nature to calm my nerves. It does a better job than I could imagine any drug doing.

  • I can't tolerate a belief system that devalues human life in this way. In their minds, if you don't agree with them on this one issue, you are no longer entitled to moral protection or consideration; you are beneath humankind and should be subject to tremendous suffering, mutilation, and death. I guess it goes in hand with Xtian belief that atheists' lives are meaningless without God and therefore have no value. Radical Xtians think this way, but i think moderates may share it at a lesser degree

  • @AngelsInAbsentia its really a attempt at grasping some form of pride. these people don't understand much about their world, their God gives them comfort so they think they 'know' something that suddenly makes them more enlightened than a more educated position.

  • It's funny, I was in the gym today and overheard a woman say " if you say anything about blacks, or homosexuals then your automatically a bigotted, racist and homophobe." She then said " Everyone has freedom of speech in this country, except for WHITE AMERICAN CHRISTIANS." I capitalized that for emphasis she didn't scream it. But I laughed and was just stunned that someone could be so freaking stupid as to say something like that. I had half a mind to put her in her place right there.

  • I love how Christians think that being American means being Christian when the people who founded America where predominately deist and were in fact critical of Christianity; After all a lot of people that went to America did so to escape the BS of religions, mainly Christianity.

  • I think all Atheists should leave America... and come up here to Canada! We can live in a technological wonderland with free healthcare, super-fast internet, and the quality of living that only science can provide. The true Americans can go back to the horse and buggy with nobody to cure their diseases, maintain their infrastructure or fix their technology.

  • @TheCraich Nothing is ever free. You may not be able to see the cost in your everyday life, but it's there. Type in "Milton Friedman free lunch myth" to youtube.

  • This is fucking beautiful. How can these idiot don't see there own hypocrisy. And more importantly how de they menage to breath while being this stupid !

  • @oralyon xD I love how you fuck up on the second sentence but you're calling them stupid. Awesome.

  • @restlesspride666 French is my main language sorry

  • Christianity in a nutshell is: "believe what we tell you or we'll hurt you"

  • Norse metal rules, amon amarth FTW!

  • I love how these "Christians" are so happy to kill us. Funny how they forget the "Thou Shalt Not Kill" commandment.

  • @modernoverdrive To Christians they "interpret" it to "Thou Shall Not Kill another True, worthy Christian" which leaves 89% of the world open game.

  • \m/ metal

  • Wow, the stupendous amount of stupidity being spewed by the religious only solidifies our resolve against such nonsensical beliefs.

Your hate only proves us correct theists.

  • bunch of brain dead christian fucks you can tell how much "faith" they have in the lord by how many guns the paranoid scared of death fuck are

oh my dead granny grampy mammie pappy told me jesus exists they dont lie.

pfffft bunch of deluded bible banging douche harnesses

  • It's so sad how violent we humans are. =:(

  • I don't see how those Christians are acting any different than the people who crucified Jesus. Those comments would be beautifully juxtaposed against Bill O' Reilly's statement about how a Christian would never commit mass murder.

  • @DarkMatter2525 As always, you, sir, are a genius. Now that my tongue is out of your ass, I'd like to say that I completely agree with you and thanks for watching!

  • @DarkMatter2525 Ha he forgot about the crusades.

  • I have very little respect of patience for willingly ignorant people. These same people who also think that they should kill those who do not believe in god, (or those who believe in the wrong god as the case may be) also recite the verses from the Bible that says "thou shalt not kill" and many other similar verses. They pick the parts of the book that suits them and ignore the rest. I have had Christians get irate with me when it became obvious that I knew the Bible better than they did.

  • @beadheadbrassie Also, the spelling of god in lower case was intentional.

  • At 6:10. Hope that mucus tasted good mate!

    ;-)

  • @DeistByDefinition It was delicious. Thanks for the nice wishes.

  • So you like Norse metal?

Try some finnsih metal too. It's quite good. But I have a bias on that subject. :)

    Here's some examples.

    Kotiteollisuus (FI) watch?v=QxND7prkbpQ

    Tarot (ENG) watch?v=LWMPVjCgQPI

    Apocalyptica (Mostly instrumental) watch?v=zf2aIVKp1OY

    And many more.

This is not metal but it's one of my favourites.

    CMX (FI) watch?v=hua3zrF4Kwo

  • So much for the followers of the Prince of Peace. You know, the same one who told us there was a hell to go to when you die.

I have yet to hear a single atheist advocating killing all the religious people.

If you exist oh Lord almighty, please save us from your followers.

  • Opening joke - Priceless. Because I don't read the Fox news comments section, I must be living in a bubble. I like to think that even people with delusional beliefs have some degree of tolerance for Atheists. This video is a cold reminder of what religion allows people to say and think without any degree of compassion or conscience. It's really very sad.

  • The comment on Islamic punishment is a horrible generalization.

  • You like "our" music so I subbed. ;)

Would be fun/intressting to see how comments of that kind would be recieved over here (Sweden). =)

Not very likely to come across it though.

  • @spectratos I've been a fan of "your" music for forever. I have Opeth's logo tattooed on my wrist.

  • And they wonder why atheists are slightly annoyed with most Christians.

Also, pretty annoyed with other Christians using the No True Scotsman Fallacy when they hear "bad" Christians like this.

  • The Parable of the Ten Minas is an interesting one. Is Jesus referring to himself as the one king asking for unbelievers to be murdered before him? Fuck, I hate parables.

  • I don't know what's worse; people like this, or the christians that would rather claim they aren't "true" christians instead of, I dunno, helping fight the atheist stereotype with us? You disagree with the ones who pull this shit and think they ruin the "christian name", but then you won't help get rid of it? And then you wonder why atheists, or at least myself because I don't want to try and speak for everyone, think you're just as intolerant as the fundamentalists?

  • "So they can understand what that cross symbolizes"? Apparently, not much.

  • Man, all those hateful and violent comments. Almost sounds like you're reading posts from Stormfront or something.

  • I love this, and I love you.

  • Wow.

  • You know when it comes down to it, not one person in those comments is christian, they like to call themselves that, but their intense hatred and need to kill is entirely against the words of their beloved prophet. They are like Janes who hunt.

  • Christians advertising violence against different groups of people. Nothing new there.

  • vikings had metal?

  • Oh, how they love us.

  • Irony alert at 5.38

  • "Good, You all understand what Golden rule and spelling means" (pats heads).

Is not something Jesus would do.

  • Your South Carolina comment had me laughing. I needed a laugh after being in a pissed off funk today.

  • Why a fish? If a group of atheists decided to use ANY piece of debris to symbolize the lack of a YHWH intervening in the attacks or to suggest the non-existence of any god completely, would it then be equally petty for Christians to rabble against it? Would their complaints be equally valuable? What if Muslims found a moon and star shaped girder? Jews found a couple triangles and put them together?

And what makes you think a hick yelling "nigger" would get him killed?

  • @aphoxema 1) A fish because that's another Jebus symbol. Coincidence is all that's at work here.

    2) The "cross" is a piece of debris. People are going to see it how they're gonna see it. The Jesus toast was just toast, etc.

    3) A hick coming to a few of the places I've lived yelling that word would get him dead. I've seen and known people murdered for less.

  • @cmfic36 Alright, 1) This piggybacks on other faiths. Imagine instead a mess of wires that looks sort of kind of like a depiction of an atom. Would Christians be equally petty to fight that?

    2) No shit, but what it's seen as is exactly the problem. Christians can not demand a double-standard that their totems are more valuable than others.

    3) This perpetuates the stereotype that blacks are uncivilized and out to murder over trivial things, "neighborhood" or not. No favors, there.

  • @aphoxema 1) Yes.

    2) It's still just a coincidence.

    3) Nope. It's not perpetuating a stereotype, it's relaying the truth. I've lived there, and I know how things work. I'm not advocating it, that's just the way it is. The same thing would happen to a hick yelling "wetback" or "spic" in a Latino neighborhood, or going Gran Torino in the Asian section of town. Street gangs don't fuck around and they definitely don't have time for that type of shit.

  • @cmfic36 1) It's still important in what way that icon is perceived. It's, in fact, more honest to admit there's no divinity or fate involved, but disingenuous because atheists are generally aware no fortuitous symbol is necessary to prove their validity.

    2) Incidence isn't the point here, Christians could pick anything they want and they will -still- be using it to not only characterize their beliefs but demand superior treatment.

    3) There's a difference between black people and gangs.

  • @aphoxema I'm well aware of that difference. It was you who didn't understand the context of what I said.

  • @cmfic36 Don't try copping out, just forget #3 because it was a low-blow anyways and not really relevant to your video, I shouldn't have wasted your time with it. #1 isn't worth discussing either. So...

The point for AA is they are out to piss people off and get people thinking about it. You're smart and probably realize this and that it makes atheists in general look bad. This whole thing is stupid and probably won't get anywhere anyways. But, a big deal out of nothing? (continued)

  • @cmfic36 In the havoc of 9/11, even the most shallowly religious sought comfort in anything they could find. It's from the pain, the hope for "justice" and the religious views defining the meaning of justice that this sort of thing came from. That pain isn't over but now it's being exploited. Another cross in a country full of crosses is small, it's like Pepsi ads. Everyone knows it's there, but if they stop then sales might slip. AA is trying to point out the salespeople.

  • @aphoxema I see your point, I just don't agree with it. There are bigger fish to fry. Let them have their cross.

  • @cmfic36 There -are- better arenas than over some memorial focused on events a decade ago, yeah. I'd say AA is going after low-hanging fruit but really it's just a distraction where billboards and sky banners were provoking thoughts out of the courtroom and where we can see it.

Television ads would be a better use of that money, and really the problem with attacking this cross and the other Christianified hat-tips to the dead is it makes AA more threatening than provocative.

  • The dude abides . . . .

  • Amazing how some christians see violent murder as a relevant & plausible option to end an argument...

  • @bornagainatheist1 wow i love how come athiests are pedophiles and rape needy women. I love how athiests say "some christians" as if they are not as human as you, and your youtube arogence and therefore dictates your politcal correctness. athiesm truly makes people fools. full of themselves.

  • @gordonculp What the..? I'm not condemning christians or christianity. I work & live amicably with people who are believers, the difference is, these people do NOT say "We should kill all the atheists!"

Don't let your faith get in the way of condemning stupidity & violence, even SPOKEN violence. Remember that the bible says that if you THINK it, you've done it. Therefore, these "christians" shouldn't speak about murder so freely as it contradicts their faith

  • @gordonculp "wow i love how come athiests are pedophiles and rape needy women.'

    Umm,, wtf?

  • @gordonculp Go back to school and try reading a BOOK. That might be difficult, but it'll sure as shit help with your spelling and language skills and you desperately need that, as I have no idea what the fuck you just said.

  • @gordonculp Wait WHAT?

  • @bornagainatheist1 Unfortunatley they do not enjoy the beauty of free thought as they have been brainwashed from young age. Therfore they are unable to see the irony of their statements. They actually will provide a passage from the fictionla book bible that says bring the people that do not believe in god before him and kill them in front of him.. These people are so delusional that they actually believe it. I say take pity on them and hope they will find pshyciatric help

  • What were you listening to? Bathory? Whatever it was it sounded fucking awesome, especially between 2:17 and 2:42, gimmeh name of track plx. On topic some of those comments smelled pretty trollish to me but what do I know, never even met a religious person.

  • @zalmanusa The new Borknagar album. It's called Universal. It's pretty alright, but not nearly as epic as Epic.

  • Oh merciful religion.

  • Those beams have been turned into a monument to religion

the very thing responsible for the destruction of the twin towers.

Muslims who hated america for supporting Israel. Then again, the site has become a mausoleum and they can mark the site where christians died with a cross, so long as muslims, jews, and atheists can. But just watch the christian reaction when you try to put a muslim crescent or an atheist atom next to their cross.

  • So, atheists are taking all their rights away? Wow! Their god must be pretty weak when atheists (who are in the minority) have the power to do all that.

I imagine we will see more attacks here like the one they had in Norway recently. Very disturbing.

  • @voyzovrezon Atheism is truly stronger than God.

  • wow, and i thought i had to have more fear being black and woman, now i have to worry about being an atheist and being killed for it~america, fuck yeah~

  • Yeah let's crucify an atheist and make them a martyr. That's a good idea. Even if god exists AND he'd want us dead, that makes them STILL a moron.

  • lol

  • AH! can I have the link to that?

  • I think that many of them feel threatened because, deep down, they know that their religious belief is fear-motivated and unjustified.

  • This is left up!? Death threats and hate speech of this sort? I mean, there is a difference between "Atheists shouldn't do that " and "Let's kill them all"... But hey, they are following their god's principles of the old testament.
