For not having played past Stage 6 ever before, I'd say you did pretty well. Of course, this is coming from the guy who played this game every day as a kid yet still didn't beat it in his video, so that probably doesn't hold much weight.
I think we have a pretty good variety planned. I can't say there are no more action/platformers, but they don't make up the bulk of the contest at all.
