This is one of this best scenes in daytime history. I cried for days after and played it over and over. Tony and Genie are the best ever and will always be. Add JJ and now Julie Bergman and you have heaven!! Please GH bring back our angel. The Spencers are simply the best. I love and thank them all. They will always be in my heart.

I cried BUCKETS during Laura's return esp. during these infamous LnL scenes. When Luke broke down, I lost ALL sense and fell apart with RT's beautiful song as Laura went to her "happy place." Just no words with the acting betw TG/GF. VERY few actos have the type of chemistry that they share. My other faves are Darnell William/Debbie Morgan (Jessie/Angie) who have this type of chemistry like GF/TG (imo) Just a "realness" about them that makes my heart just skip a beat and melt..

I was holding up so well to the point where Luke broke down, but when Laura went to the happy place in her head of her wedding day. . . I ran for the Kleenex. I'm a 30 year old man, and I can count on one hand the number of things on TV that have made me cry.

OMG...I...can't....stop....cry­ing!! I was too young to watch Luke and Laura but you didn't have to be a long time fan to know that they truly are the best couple on daytime EVER!! And I swear, even the guys in my family who can't stand soaps watched a scene with Luke and Laura when she came back from comatose and stayed watching until this final scene and they cried too!!

it just amazes that after 25+ years (including the 4 years Laura was catatonic) how much love LnL still has for each other. every time i watch this clip, i can't help but feel heartbroken watching Luke breakdown like that. i would be in so much pain to watch the person i love slip away in front of my eyes. i hope the GH brings Genie back, us LnL fans can't wait any longer!

Thanks for adding this scene. I saw it live yesterday. I've never been so moved. Laura's beautiful place - her 1981 wedding to Luke. Genie and Tony have a chemistry unlike any before on daytime TV. Even by their standards the last 3 minutes will never be equaled.
