I think the reason they didn't have a million boss-type enimies with 1k hp is this: The tomb Raider Series saw limited success in the later years beacause of its more action-oriented gameplay and lack of platform/puzzle based gameplay that made the original so great. This was their attempt at fixing that. I'll say that alot simpler:::: TOMB RAIDER IS AN ADVENTURE/PLATFORMER!!!!!!!!!!­!!! NOT A SHOOTER. I LUV REGULAR SHOW!!!!!?

I have the feeling that the Kraken and Natla are the only real bosses in this video.

Althoug the Kraken isn't really... a boss, you know? He's actually a puzzle wich doesn't move or anything. The yeti is a normal enemie and it's just the first encounter so that's why there's a cutscene for it.

This is the reason Tomb Raider: Underworld suck no boss battle. The Kraken is no a boss battle is only a enemie block you part, the Yeti thrall morer like mini bosss, and Natla like the Kraken.

the yetti thrall isnt a boss you can easly adrenaline shoot it, and in laras shadows for the (360only BEAT THE PS3 ) theres a bunch of them, and in last level of underworld

This game is a big dissapointment. It was too short,the boss fights weren't fights it was just puzzles. They should've added more bosses. They should work extra hard for the next Tomb Raider game.

@soroxxay201 The next one has been in production 4 2 years and when its final released (2011) that will make it 3 years everyother tombraider game made was completed in just a year cause of sqaure enix owning lara they said they want to kick the hell out of crystal to make a good game they were so cocky about the next game they released all the sales for every game and said were guna try beat them all afta sqaure got involved they forcing crystal to make good tombraiders thats why its 3 years

The first and lass boss wasn't even a fight =/ it was a puzzle. I wish they would get creative when making a Kraken and not just throw a giant octopus in a game. The 'yeti' looked like something from lord of the rings D:<

@kastratosephiroth they'll never do one cos it'll fuck with the Lara Croft they established in anniversary. If Lara does this crazy 'looking at her hands' shit after killing one person in anniversary, it wouldn't make sense to have her slaughtering entire armies of people (possibly even monks!) without hesitation. Also, I don't wanna see them fuck with her character motivations so the plot revolves around her mummy/daddy issues AGAIN!

There actually aren't any boss fights in TRU. There are some enemies that are tougher than others, such as bats are easier to beat than tigers, that doesn't make tigers bosses. Boss battles are generally battles where there is a specific way to kill the boss, not just shoot as much as possible and it might die.

@morsusmihi Not always.I mean,the kraken could be a boss.It frequenlty tentacle attacked me and touching it killed me.But the Yeti thrall is the only one you fight with guns while you fight billions of others with the hammer and Natla is just ahazzard at the final level.But well.We can't have everything can we?Besides,I hate the game anyway so I shouldn't really be explaining this but oh well...

@morsusmihi The way you say it,the Kraken could as well have been a boss and socould the others.The point is,that the enemy him/her self should have a special ability or a unique appearance no other enemy has.In a fight though.
