A great example that you don't need a high budget to make a good movie. Movies these days are presented to you as if you were dumb, you hardly have to think in the majority of them. One golden rule is to never think your audience is dumb. As long as the story connects, it'll be great. Also, way too much CGI these days that fill in unneccesary effects. Too much explosions, little impact.
