Logically if it has more then double the stream processors from the last gen than it should be roughly double the performance if not more.

As for me I just bought an ATi HD 5870 for the hell of it as it is more then enough at 1680x1050.

I think Ati 5970 which will come in 2 weeks will be pretty nice peace of equipment. But imo these benchmarks are not true. Im not fanboy, I buy the card that is best, but I can belive these before they start selling them and there will be offical benchmarks.
