This is the perfect song for this movie. I love this song and I love this movie, i think the theme for both are similar. In response to the brother while I can agree with the horrors of discrimination, I think the greatest message of the movie was that we are all connected and have so much more power than we think. I ve recently seen this movie, I loved it and cried so hard in the end... I think of it every single day. I just didn't understand the sceene where the boys were playing basketball - there when Jeremy watched that guy in the bathroom. Was that really geyish like thing as he was accused of later on (why kissing the girl earlier in the movie then?) or was there something deeper behind that sceene?

I think I get it now...they quoted Einstien with his theory that we would be nothing but pure energy if we used all of our brain. Powder had those powers...that was the parts that people DON'T use. He just needed to discover the rest. Being locked up meant he didn't know about what humans DO use. One he did...he was reduced to energy.
