if you really say you know, then yuu should know there's a system of romanizing taiwanese genius. and there are experts in taiwan on TAIWANESE literature. not chinese. there is a written form, and regardless, it is a language. do you even speak it? because I do.

no. Mandarin is the same in Taiwan and China(as well as in HK, Singapore, they also speak Mandarin). when you're talking about the actual Taiwanese language, its not the same as Mandarin. Taiwanese is our natural tongue in Taiwan.

Yeah, though I think technically Taiwanese is just the form of Fukienese found in Taiwan, and whatever the aborigines speak is more like the 'natural tongue' that you're talking about. And technically, Taiwanese isn't a language-- it's a dialect.
