Schenker is awesome. Simon Phillips is simply outstanding, and I really don't think anyone else could have done a better job. Such tasteful and powerful playing. As for Gary Barden, I have no problems at all with his perfomance here. I always liked his voice, and identify MSG best with his singing.
AWESOME as EVER!!! WAS lucky enuff to see him with the Scorpions in Chicago last year and they rocked !!! he is pure artist it all comes from the heart not theory.

HE can doctor up the studio stuff but live is just to demanding he compensates an octave lower and it just takes away from the original
I have been listening to Michael since 1975. He has always inspired me on guitar & been my favorite guitarist. Michael has infuenced a huge amount of famous guitar players as well as the local heros. I saw him in 88 & recently . He played his heart out @ both shows. I will always listen to Michael for the rest of my days on earth.

@nylonsteel That would be too much to ask for. Simon is in other projects where he makes ALOT more money. Also, schenker tours like a monster and Simon isn't into that anymore. I would settle for simon being permanent on his recordings.

Mike really deserves 2 find another lead singer. its ridiculous, half the time the audience is singing. He silmply ruins the songs.
