It's after watching scenes like this that I realize just how hard it must be to build rapport with one actor, get them inside of you, as your brother, sister, husband, whatever... and then having to recreate that with a completely different actor. TSJ WILL NEVER BE RH... The question remains can someone else really pick up a character created by another actor and BE that character? I don't know. Can you imagine them recasting Viki tomorrow?

They are both great actors. RH left the role, TSJ took the role. They were both awesome in the role. I savor the memories of RH as Todd, and I enjoy the new ones being made by TSJ.

not to get off the subject but i hate marty on one life to live, i hate that she plays the victim role , i always hate her on onelife to live like when she , was with her first boyfriend blair is so right about her, and i cant stand blair and that should tell you.

You kno as true as that is. Trevor can never make me and many maany more people feel like he is Todd Manning. I actually do like Trevor i feel like he is a great actor. But he is def. not as good as Roger && def. no Todd.

Such a heartbreaking scene. I believe this was after his faking the DID came out. His comment about missing her seemed to be the only genuine comment from him and that probably got Viki in the gut. I so agree, no other brother/sister duo compares to Todd and Viki

Todd Manning should never be portrayed as normal. Normal is boring & there was never anything boring about Roger's Todd. If TSJ was portraying NORMAL Todd back in 93 he would have gone off to jail with the other frat boys never to be seen again. Maxine you're right, they may as well call TSJ's Todd "BO" or whoever else, cuz he ain't Todd Manning..
