  • You all sound fantastic! You have no idea of what I would give to have been there in person to see it with my own eyes.

The next time I am in Ireland....I will do my best to catch a performance.

  • This amphitheatre is such a magnificent place. Watch out for 2011 programme for Ballykeeffe. Check our website . Hope to have new canopy in place which should really add to the beauty and uniqueness of this little gem built deep into the rock. No need to go miles to find a more haunting and wonderful experience!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It´s about 3:00 that Ceann Duhb Dilis starts.

  • Would you mind making two videos, one for each song ? I would like so much my male choir to listen (and also sing I hope) Ceann Dubh Dilis. Thanks a lot !

  • @Polymnia5 too tricky I'm afraid - I think there might be a performance of Ceann Dubh on the TG4 channel on YouTube that might be OK.

  • @brezairola Thank you so much for your answer ! Indeed, I found it on TG4 channel.

(How do you manage to be so considerate with each one and find the time to do all that beautiful work with Anuna ?!! you're so amazing...)

  • I discovered Anuna by chance a few weeks ago and since then, spend hours on youtube. Your videos are really beautiful, but I am also impressed when you sing outside or in a shop. Will you ever sing in France !? French people would love it. I would be able to go to Ireland just to listen to you ! (and of course to visit your marvelous country). Meanwhile, I hope singing some of your pieces with my choir. Please go on !

  • amazing sound!

  • Gosh I would love to meet these people - I am always more interested in the people than the music, as long as the music is beautiful. If, on the other hand, I don't like the music, than I usually couldn't care less about the people. ...is that weird?

  • hill rolling, lol! *****

  • That's awesome!

  • What was the hill rolling about? I though Ceann Dubh Dilis was about a dark-haired beauty, and I picked out something about a pale hand. The rest of it was lost on me- lol.

  • The girls were bored, so rolled down the hill few times at the rehearsal.

  • @brezairola

    thats always fun... =)

  • @bingowasmyname This is one of my favourite songs, as much for the bravado of the lyrics as the melody and performance. In the first verse, the man praises the dark-haired beauty - but the second verse is what clinches it for me, because he boasts of how the girls of his village are all fighting over him, and he could have any one of them, but he chooses the dark-haired beauty. He isn't the faintest bit humble about it. :-D

  • it´s amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like the mermaid song so much. though i could not understand the lyrics becoz it's in irish gaelic, the melody is so nice and i like the blending of your voices. superb! :)

  • I love listening to people singing in Gaelic.

    Rath de ort, Mr. McGlynn.

  • I'm so happy I found a live version of Ceann Dubh Dilis, I sang it last year in my school's Men's Chorus

  • Absolutely beautiful! Ceann Dubh Dilis........loved it!! I recently found these videos and haven't stopped listening to them since.

    Thanks for posting these!! :)

  • The albums are available on itunes, and my playcount is off the charts! Buy them, really :)

  • LOVE THE Ceann Dubh Dilis, but what was the hill rolling about? Weird... And Ceann Dubh Dilis is about enticing a dark haired beauty... so beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Sweeeeeet! :)

  • Nice - you fixed the aspect ratio. Even better than before.

  • Lovely.

"Ceann Dubh Dilis" is my most-played Anuna song. :)

  • Truly beautiful! It brought a tear to my eye (lol, and I am not just being overly sensitive!)! Keep up the good work!
