A 2 minute minor is assesed for clipping. If injury occurs it will be a 5 minute major and a game misconduct.So to me Marchand call is right, suspension maybe a lil harsh I thought 3 games.

A 2 minute minor is assesed for clipping. If injury occurs it will be a 5 minute major and a game misconduct.So to me Marchand call is right, suspension maybe a lil harsh I thought 3 games.

@JTJFan You can argue Marchand got a suspension for your 1,2,3 points thats fine. But why no penalty at all on Raymond. Marchand got 5 and a game and Raymond zip. Thats where the problem lies with the refs. There is an article out there somewhere stating Marchand gained approval from the league in the offseason to make this hit. The nhl said "only if it is to prevent you from getting injured" or a protect yourself move. Guess they didnt buy it this time

Bruins fan here, similar hits yes. Difference is Campbell vs. Shanahan. Marchand has a history so will be scrutinizfed, also Canucks whine to the NHL publicly to create a larger outcry for justice. Sorry but its true. For a coach to call Marchand dirty after watching Burrows bite Bergeron, Hansen spear Mcquaid in the balls, everything that Torres did, Rome hit. Thats only a 7 game series. Canucks your a decent team but please dont act like your choir boys and Bruins are dirty
