I just reread the LABB mureder cases (I have NOT read Death Note 13) but, Mello states that L went by so many diffrent names no one (and maybe L himself) knew his real name. I think that would make sence, grant that I don't think any one would name their child (orphaned or not) a single letter of the alphabet. Nothing against the creaters or anything.

Maybe L stans for Love, 'cuse I love him. ^_^
