Sounds abosulutely amazing. Just purchased a pss-680 but wish I had opted for the 390 now.

How did you integrate the additional chip? There is a board for the C64 to allow for an additional SID chip, did you build something similar?

@batcountry69 i have piggybacked the second fm chip to the board. (just solder the second chip completely parallel to the first one) The sound Outputs are switchable from the 2 switches on the back , its very simple. the dataline mods for the second chip are simple tooo , just cut the 8 Datalines and connect the input lines of the chip through a resistor against ground or 5 Volts. for the pitch just replace the internal crystal clock with a ltc1799. you can add a 1799 for both chips.

@retrosound72 Eigentlich kann ich alle Boards auch mit Midi ausstatten,würde aber auf Grund der Kosten des Umbaus von 40 bis 70 euro pro Gerät ehr zu einem PSS 480 oder 580 raten. Die habe auch fette FM sounds und MIDI integriert. Preislich liegen die auch um 30 50 Euro. Ich habe Einige sehr Fette FM boards mit MIDI,auch ein PSR 36, das ist ein Fullsize PSS 570(auch hab) würde ich schätzen. Mit midi und super geilen FM sounds. FM boards und die Clone sind eh meine Lieblinge.Sorry herr Casio ^^

@BaumDerProllige Du das hört sich alles ganz gut an. Habe in der Bucht gerade ein PSS-390 geschossen, weil mich die Realtime-Slider gereizt haben und die größe der Kiste genial ist. habe hier ja keinen Platz mehr. ;) Klar können die großen noch mehr und haben schon Midi eingebaut aber möglich wäre es also auch beim 390. super. naja mal abwarten ;) dank dir.

@retrosound72 klar midifizierung der Klaviatur ist bei den pss´ssen ist "problemlos" möglich. Falls du selber Hand anlegen möchtest empfehle ich dir "highly liquid"... die haben echt für jedes erdenkliche Problem ne passende MIDI Lösung. Bei denen bekommt man auch andere rertofits für die richtig coolen Boards. Für uns liebhaber und bastler eigentlich ein pflicht Bookmark ;)

This is amazing. One of the most interesting bends I've seen of a keyboard. And the PSS-390 is pretty cool in itself. I just bought a PSS-390 off a Swedish auction site. Looking forward to getting my hands on it. Not sure I'll dare to bend it though - I can't even bend an animal keyboard.

oh yeah, i like it like it like it like it like it like it !!!!! Das bringt mich auf den ollen witz: "Wie klingt Ambient eigentlich rückwärts? ---> Wie Ambient!" :-)) Sehr geile Idee, den 2ten Chip einzubauen, das Teil ist echt Fett! Wenn's nen Bending Award oder sowas gäbe, würdest du sämtliche Preise abräumen mit deinen Apparaten. Erster Preis: 12,5 kilo Potis, Schalter & Kabel^^ lol

@Elnufo >Thank you very much. Im moment kommen leider nur zögerlich neue videos , da ich mir grad ein Studio bastel. Ich hoffe das ich dann mehr dazu komme meine ganzen Devices endlich mal zu recorden :) Zusätzlich haben sich schon einige Projekte angesammelt die so langsam mal fertiggestellt werden müssten ... 24 stunden pro tag sind einfach zu wenig ;) Und die idee mit dem contest finde ich cool und den preis erst recht :).
