@juicyconcertlover In truth, it was an epic moment for me. I was trying to keep from doubling over laughing and totally ruining the video! It's easier to think "I'd be cool if that happened to me" once you can see it on YouTube, but at that moment (and especially after being told "I can't do it in the middle of the lobby...") it was so unexpected, I got chills and was entirely worried about pointing the camera in the right direction!!!

The actors and actresses can feel free to decline anyone anytime. Chris Hemsworth, Sir Patrick Stewart, Bruce Campbell, Charlize Theron, William Shatner, Scott Bakula, and Chase Masterson were all there: Mr. Hammill was one of those who was kind enough to appreciate his fans. Oh - and btw: don't call me a douche again.

At the Star Trek panel, Scott Bakula came in looking just like he did in every Quantum Leap episode - in a very simple plain white tee, jeans, and sneakers... it's like Scott Bakula dressing up would risk a breach in the space-time continuum...

I politely informed the Stormtrooper-dudes that the guy who starred in the movie that they were uncontrollably addicted to just walked by them... and they facepalmed themselves 10 or 20 times while sobbing uncontrollably...

My friend and I were in the Omni, thinking of getting dinner, when I noticed him walk in. I tapped my friend and said "Hey do you know who that is? I think that's Mark Hammill!" He wasn't surrounded by a crowd of people or anything, just happened to be following a couple of security guys, and walked from the door to the elevators. While he was waiting for the elevators, I got the guts to talk to him: "Mr. Hammill?"

I told him that as a boy, I had watched the Star Wars movies again and again: after all, who doesn't dream of being Luke freakin Skywalker? I told him how much I enjoyed his work on Star Wars, and asked if I could take a picture with him (which I now have as one of my FB profile pics). As the encounter ended, I asked for one more thing: A honest-to-goodness Joker laugh...
