Dali - we got it!!!! I left you a comment in my newest Olive video. Can you post this as a response to that one. The doll is amazingly cute. I love it. Olive loves it. I can't believe how special it is and how special you are!
MAN this is awesome! It's a real shame that some of live soooo far apart! Wouldn't it be cool if youtube could beam us right up to the other tuber's house? I enjoyed this video BIG time. It brings many smiles and reminds me of my Nana. She used to sit in her chair for hours on end sewing clothes for the dolly she gave me. It used to be my Mum's dolly and when Mum grew up Nana put it away. I remember her coming down the stairs one day with a blak trashbag. The treasure was inside!
Frida~ It's like sewing is a "comfort food" to me. Whenever I am not feeling inspired on any project I am working on, I like to go to sewing because it feels theraputic. I feel the same about knitting and crocheting also.

Wow this realy tuched a spot in my hart. ive neglected my sewing skills for a long time now and job excuses asside its something I should start again, ive subconsiosly been building up to it I think with my Fashion fashion video and have just made another video of my fashion days so will be posting that one soon. thanks for sharing this video with us .
OH MY GOSH! We just watched this for the first time (myself, Laney and Evan) and are all just BLOWN AWAY! Aside from being SO touched by this incredible effort, the product itself (the concept, the video, the dolls) is so incredibly poignant and just perfect! I can certainly relate to the message about art and falling in and out of inspiration and self doubt. Speaking of inspiration right now Laney is digging out the scissors to try to make a doll! Eagle~ I liked my hair like that too! It was too much FUN! My 20-year old son came home unexpectedly as I was sitting at the computer, editing my video. He said, "Hey, what's up with the hair-do? Is this how you look all day when I'm not around?" He was laughing. I had to laugh too, but I really did have fun with it. Thanks for being such an inspiration to me.
Those are awesome dolls!! Looks like you overcame all those obstacles, good for you! Glad you didn't give up. My brother and sister still have the dolls I made for them one Christmas when I was a broke university student. It warms my heart every time I see them!!!
