Thanks for putting up this video, I wish they had put up the official footage. It was a performance I'll always remember because he had the whole audience screaming and singing! He was the best performance that night. This song is one of those songs that captures the American spirit. I love it when they play it at baseball games, it brings everyone together.
I was a huge Neil Diamond fan a few years ago even flying from Hawaii to Las Vegas just to see his concert, which was awesome. However, I think unfortunately it is time for him to retire; for me, he has lost his sex appeal and stage presence.
@dollbabyism Ha ha good for you! Glad he still has lots of fans - I guess a large part of his appeal for me in addition to his awesome voice was his physical attractiveness. Guess I'm just shallow!!!!!!! But it's ironic because now I'm a major fan of Merrill Osmond - who actually looks older than Neil! For some reason, I find Merrill extremely sexy. Go figure!
