Ive stopped talking to all my friends and family. i went from being a happy hard working/friendly person to a hopeless and depressed person in a few months.This song and father of mine make me cry, i wish everything would just go back to the way it was a year ago. The answer is find the person you wanna be with for the rest of your life make sure by spending at least 3 years together with them and 1-2 of those years live with them just so you know exactly what they are like and when you make the commitment to marry them you will be sure that it will last forever.

Unless the divorce is honestly for the better (one of your parents is abusive) divorce is never good. You don't know what it's like to cry and not be able to remember what it was like to have both parents there on Christmas morning opening presents, and the only memory you have of your parents together is watching your dad's hurt expression as he hands you off to your mom. You're parents obviously aren't divorce. Or maybe you were the result of a one night stand and never knew them. You have no clue how much stress it puts on the kids. All of those sleepless nights, laying in bed crying, thinking about the memories you had as a family before your parents divorced, wishing you could relive those memories. It's assholes like you that cause all the pain and sorrow in our lives. You'll never understand.

@CockyR4 YOU might think that divorce is "GREAT", but NO it is not, to many, and it is not up to you to decide how great it is. You might think that you have it worse, yes, maybe you are indeed, but have you thought that other people suffer too? Did you think you were the only one? @CockyR4 The thing I'm saying is, you're coming from a very objective point of view, because you live a life that makes you wish your parents were divorced instead, but you have no idea what the kids who have divorced parents feel. Try to think in their shoes, would you be able to cope with the mental stress and pain the divorce could bring if you were them? Now, you are not them, that is why you are able to think that divorce is "great". That comment itself is very objective.

@MrSpudshooter My parents divorced when I was 3 months old. I never even got to know what it feels like to have your REAL dad live with you. Now My dad is married to a woman who has 3 children, and he's forgotton all about me and all he cares about is them.. Half the time He won't pay child support, so My mom took him to court soo yeah that's my life:(

@MrSpudshooter , the only thing that i dont understand is my mom and dad are getting devoriced and i have no idea what to do because my dad is talking about moving to get away from her i know that it sucks with her around ( shes in a different country tho, canada) and we would go visit and he then married her they knew eachother for 10years but all my friends are here and she cheated and now my dad wants to move its just going to suck cause "i dont wanna start over again."

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! god dang it. i rlly dont wanna go home when the bell rings. my friends tell me everything is great as they're watching me cry or they're crying. how stupid is that? and the sad thing is promises never meant anything to me when i was little because three quarters of my friends break their promises between me and them. and i have to move in to my mom's boyfriends house. in february!!!
