  • Good job!, thats what people like her should be doing all around the world so people know what they are really buying, i am ant-palm oil, is so unhealthy too!, want to know why go research ive done loads of it

  • try to do my bit buying sunflower oil and not veg oil and buying 100 % dairy butter but its places like my local chip shop who need educating. appalled to see 5 empty boxes of 'palm oil' in said chip shop in Withernsea. Suggested he used something else to cook his chips in but he seemed ignorant of the facts.!!!! May print this off and hand it to them.

  • Well done, Go on plaster the stickers around...Trouble is you will need to post them on most products. It's so very hard NOT to buy it now.

    NO TO PALM OIL

  • I can't believe how sad some people are. Orangutans are dying every day and all this video is doing is trying to help stop palm oil plantations. The least you could do is show some respect.

' Animals don't hate, and we're supposed to be better than them.' (Elvis Presley)

  • 73,000 hectares of land in The Mentawai island will be a target for a Palm Plantations company to develop the plantations and Crude Palm Oil industry. As Mentawais is an archipelago and automatically the industry's cesspool will goes into the ocean!! Sound like that we have to do something to stop this!! Pls support us and the Mentawaian university students to stop this!!

  • That is wonderful! We need similar action in the US. I've been so disturbed to watch palm oil proliferate in the past few years. Good for you, and keep up the fight!

  • Woman! get back in the kitchen and make me an orangutan and palm oil sandwich!!

  • It's easy giving up certain products after spending time in Borneo. Good vid.

  • these people fed on caviar & smiled...so superficial

  • i just cant understand that a large group of so-called civilized people killed Sturgeon fish for their eggs that their called 'caviar'. How pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome guys great job now i dont eat plam oil eney more

  • If you boycott palm oil that will hurt a LOT of poor workers in those countries. As an American that raped the hell out of our natural resources, I feel crass telling another country not to harvest palm oil simply because orangutans are endangered. Basically, there are so few orangutans they're already extinct.

  • Talked about Orang Utans...i wander whether these creatures are their ancestors.........

  • 95% people on the street when asked on the road for surveys just like in this video clip will signed whatever asked because they dont want to look stupid. As you can see in this video they just signed blindly.

  • Which country is this? what a shame when people just protested things that they dont know or what is called mis-information. That lady looks rather unhealthy, as probably she has been feeding on soya and rapseed oil. When both oils are hydogenated to harden for margarine or shortenings, it created the "artificial" trans fatty acid which is worse than natural saturated fats in palm oil. Its rather stupid for people to comment on things that they dont know. So many superficial people

  • @3muzic This clip has nothing to do with nutritional benefits, and everything to do with de-forestation in Bornio. If you have a Google you will see some more graphic clips of what is happenign to the Orangutans and you will understand why this is a big deal!

  • @3muzic You can't even tell an Australian accent yet you can assess the health??

  • @proudofubro whatever the accent is just pure english. What talked about the cock & bull about accent? You are totally out of the picture

  • I will give you respect for trying. But to think a faceless corporation like woolsworths will give a shit is a delusional. Look at their homebrand/woolworths products, most are made abroad. For example, their peanut butter is made in china. Think about the energy needed to ship them, chemical and worker regulations in china. Woolworths dont give a shit, so y care about them.

  • I wanted to let you know - Woolies called a Palm Oil Stakeholder meeting, so hopefully our actions are shifiting everthing. Stay positive!!! Anasuya

  • @Thetinypig Not to mention that Dove products are also tested on animals! Thousands of animals are put through unimaginable pain during these tests before being destroyed and thrown away when the tests are finished. Booo to Dove!

  • I find it very inconsiderate of these so-called groups that are for stopping palm oil. Most of these people have never left their native countries nor have any comprehension about what they are really speaking of.

To lump palm out into this big ball when in fact this is a product that has far reaching implications then they are willing to discuss. Behind all these so-called talking point is the vegetable oil industry giants trying to give the competition a bad name and regain market share.

  • Hi There, actually we are for two options - no palm oil or sustainable palm oil. At the moment no-one is buying sustainable palm oil and much of the industry is a cover for logging. No-one wins but the logging companies. Many of our members have also personally seen the devastation that the PO industry causes. And please remember - we aren't the only species on the planet and we can't survive without all of them. The only way forward is to completely get rid of demand for unsustainable palm oil.

  • where can i get some of those stickers btw ? i feel some direct action coming on myself....

  • nice direct action, well done !

SAY NO TO PALM OIL ! UNILEVER'S RSPO 'BUSINESS AS USUAL' = RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFORESTATION ON A GRAND SCALE !

FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE, DEMAND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCE AND ALWAYS CHECK THE LABEL !
