@NUNU1403 still the same thing. IT's jus wheat sodium balls that aren't even good for people. If you want cheaper dogfood just feed your dog Crackers with a ton of salt on them. if you want to feed your dog quality dog food type in the Youtube search field "BARF DIET". it's what they been eating for thousands of years
I just wanted to tell you that I think your videos are great! My dogs won't eat canned dog food and they will *grudgingly* eat dry food. So I feed my doggies a high protein home diet with human-grade meats. It's a little more expensive than dry dog food, but it's worth it!
Though I have to say, you're very brave at showing the brands of canned foods here especially if the people who own these two brands don't know what have been posted up here on Youtube. Especially since it's about the negative stuff about canned foods...
To my mind that's pretty well what they would do in the wild, so we recently made the switch from cooked home food to raw - and they love it!
The only things to watch out for are freshness and parasites like worms - but we only feed fresh meat and NO raw offal - so this virtually eliminates the risk in Australia.
There are also those who say feeding dogs BARF is bad. So which one to feed? I personally don't feed my dogs any raw meat because they can't take it so they only eat kibbles & cooked food. They get the best of both worlds! And they are extremely healthy dogs. So healthy that one of my Goldens was chosen to donate blood to a dying dog a year ago among another 10 more dogs. I say home-cooked food is the best whatever it is!
I've never been a big fan of commercial food. But my dogs do eat 30% kibbles & 70% real home-cooked meat, vegetables + olive oil + crushed flaxseed + soup + blah blah blah everyday. Any processed food is bad., Just imagine we humans just ate crackers or canned foods everyday? Even if vitamins + supplements + omega 6 or whatever were added in the food? It is not healthy plus you'll feel sick after a while right? But there are also so many people who say that home-cooked food is bad for dogs.
my dad and i want to make kosher food for dogs both canned and dry and treats aswell. he already owns a restraunt and bakery called delice bakery and the resturant is called delice bistro so what should i use and what do i do?
I'm sorry - the question you are asking is way beyond that of a simple video clip on dog food.
If you're about to explore commercial manufacture of dog food I suggest you seek professional advice; since the processes and machinery required is very specialised.
I'm in Australia - so am not familiar with all brands of dog food.
I'd suggest you read the label - if it shows: meat byproducts, meat meal, chicken byproducts, chicken meal etc at the top of the list of ingredients - then this is NOT a quality dog food.
Most kibble has too much cereal (dogs cannot digest lots of this) and poor quality meat sources.
I dont know about natural balance, but kibbles and bits is utter crap. Dont feed it to your dog unless you want it to have diabetes or heart disease. Read the ingrediant labels, and decide for yourself.

I read something the other day that was very basic - but truthful, it said: Dogs cannot cook!
Raw is what they eat in the wild, foxes, dingoes, wolves etc - all eat a ranging diet of whatever they can find from insects to small mammals!
Recently I saw my own dog come across an injured bird - she then ate the whole bird in about 2 seconds flat, feathers and all!

its horrible that people dont care about there pets and they just care about themsleves.

i know you people should care whats in your pet food or your not a very good pet owner are you
indanjackiee 3 years ago
Too many people just toss their dogs whatever they get out of any can or bag that they can buy at the lowest price?
But the health of your pets can really be affected by what you give them to eat.
If you want the longest possible life for your dog, it makes sense to save money - but feed top quality, by making your own dog food?
AND it's really simple!

what do u buy your dogs? or do u just make ur own?
booboosmack 3 years ago
is there any decent brand of canned dog food out there at all?
CultCraze 3 years ago
Yes there are - but you'll need to read the ingredients list on the can. Sojos make a great premix that you can just add to meat too.
But my best recommendation is to make your own with real fresh raw meat and add a few ingredients - it's REALLY easy!

who cares whats in it my dog wouldnt eat that shit anyways

YOU should care - what they eat affects their health and this can affect the length of their life and even your Vet bills?
