I just read a recent interview with Meredith and she talked a little about Nick. She said that things just didn't work out with them. Then she talked about preferring tall men and Nick's height was part of the problem. Then she mentioned having a thing for John Taylor.

Poor Nick; he is absolutely gorgeous in every conceivable way. I'm 5ft 9 inches & if Nick was only 4ft tall, I would still be mad for him ;)

he broke up with her like a year and 4months ago I think. I was sad, it was fun watching them cook dinner together, she tall and he short. She was nice to.

Okay, simply put, Simon is my favorite, Nick my 2nd. John used to be, but when he left the band in 1997, it didn't sit well w/me, and Nick and Simon stayed the course and now they're back and better than ever. As far as looks go, I've always thought Nick was good looking, and age hasn't been too bad to him. He has the prettiest green eyes, and a warm smile.

Are you saying Nick isn't good looking?! Because if that is what you're saying, then you're nuts! Nick is very good looking in a very unique way, especially when he doesn't have anything on his face. At one point I did favor John's looks but through the years saw him get sucked into a world of drugs and alcohol and then moved on to Nick. Simon never did anything for me, because to me, like with most lead singers, he's overrated and full of himself.

To be fair, John and Simon are the best looking members of the group. Nick may be nice, but he doesn't really have the looks to back it all up. John and Simon are both tall, manly and built.

Um.."the looks to back it up"(?!) HUH - Nick has never tried to be ANYTHING other than a recording artist. He's never claimed or competed for "the most beautiful/most trouserful " title like John and Simon - he's just been lil' ol' Nick - and that hasn't done him ANY HARM. He has attracted many stunning women. Even Simon said "he mangages to pull the most amazing birds - almost better than..[himself]". Nick hasn't been as self-obsessed and that makes him MORE ATTRACTIVE.

She looks like a Barbie doll. They look utterly miserable in this clip. I agree - Nick deserves better. He always seems to go for the super tall model types, as most rock stars do, I guess. Too bad about the loss of his father. I met him last year at a radio station with Simon - was a dream come true for me. He was so nice. And he must be so sick of appearing at those silly promotional events - but he was lovely.

Interesting question. I do think he's the only one who's not currently married - although I don't know if Andy is (not in the band anymore, though). Simon's been married for ages to a gorgeous supermodel, John Taylor is married to some Juicy Couture woman, and Roger remarried last year sometime I believe. So poor Nick - he was always my favorite - if I weren't already married, he could have me! :-)

Andy's the one in the band who's been married the longest believe it, or not. I just think it's such a shame that even though he is single (not to mention cute and sweet) that all women still want John and Simon. I even heard that Meredith had a very serious crush on John while she was dating Nick. What could John and Simon have that Nick doesn't? Height? So what? From what people have said, John and Simon are both egomaniacs.

I heard that rumor about Meredith being in love with John as well. I don't know why everyone loves John & Simon more than Nick. Growing up, Nick was always my favorite. I love his smile and just think he's adorable. From interviews, he certainly seems to be the most articulate as well. I do think it's nice that all of them manage to keep their children out of the public eye - that must be difficult.

I heard they had a bit of a falling out after the death of his father last year. Something to do with her telling fans about his death and Nick was angry about that. Last I heard, she was seen covorting around LA with another man (a man who is more her type, according to her friends). She likes tall men, which could explain her tendency to flirt with John alot of the time. Another thing that could have contributed to the breakup. I don't think he's seeing anyone now.
