  • Delta only way to go,Australian SF suck

  • i love special forces..................

  • Always amazing to see those guys.

My father quit the draft because it was boring, stupid and the men had no motivation. My mom protested against the army. Guess where I'm going? no, not to a hippy concert. I enlisted for the infantry after failing for the fighter pilot selection.

    lol.

(not the US army though, the Dutch army for me ;-) )

  • You have to be 21 to sign in to this job right away or be in the army already no longer the 3 years experience idea. I just graduated and wanted to go in SF but not old enough so going Ranger do that for a little and then trying to go SF.

  • What SF does this apply to to be 21? I'm thinking of joining myself too.

  • No worries, you'll still get to do the "cool stuff". My son is now SF; had to pay his dues though. He joined up real young, thinking he'd get into SF right off the bat. I TOLD him.:"you're gonna have to pay your dues, 'lil guy!" haha, "'lil guy" is a joke...he's 6 foot 3 and prolly still growing, knowing him. But now he's doing what he's always wanted to do.

Come home to momma, Bear; we love you and appreciate all you're doing. please come home one of these days! I love you, Bear.

  • i know this is U.S SF but id love to be in the Australian SF....il never get in but i just look up to every one of them and what they do to protect our country and others with there lives.....SF FUCKIN ROCK!

  • @WaRdYAus Youll never get in with that negative attitude!

  • i will most likely enlist as an SF after i graduate high school

  • remember 2 put that in ur contract wen u sign up 4 the army

  • My dad was SF in vietnam and I am going to enlist when i finish college

  • Im about to go through SF selection process.

  • Anyone know what the song is?

  • Mortal kombat - reptiles theme

  • go special forces! I wnna be like them when I grow up.

  • hell yeah. no doubt that green berets and delta are the cream of the crop. but u cant forget about marine recon.

  • i can!

  • delta is the cream of the crop, best of the best.

  • what do ops do like what

  • good training nice video

  • That first CQB entrance was totally wrong dude

  • are you referring to the number one moving after the remainder enter? rather than filling the corners? Thats all I can see wrong with this.

  • US forces go to defend the rightous people while russia goes to steal chechen and georgian oil. God bless u soldiers, kill the terrorist iranis kill the terrorist russians.

  • What's the difference and different duties of Green Berets and Delta?

  • Delta is super sonic higher up there. That's what my bf who's going into the SF said.

  • Yeah SF is awesome and higher than everyone else, but delta is like black ops stuff, like the stuff the goverment covers up and doesnt put on the news.

  • Green Berets are trained to conduct direct action and to be teachers to small milita they create to help overthrow bad governments. Delta Force is much more covert, its the pentagons highest priority unit, and its made to be a counter terrorist unit, most recruits for delta come from the green berets and the rangers

  • just to be in these units you have to have proven yourself in combat. So these are all veteran badasses with brains.

  • To anyone who asked the name of the song: its called Mortal Kombat Theme.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • thats why we are gonna have the new HK 416 assult rifle in the Norwegian Army. Water, sand is no problem for tha rifle.

  • hey guys, i just found a fact. do you know that some spec ops that operate in the water, sometimes they put condoms over their gun barrels to stop water screwing with it or what not?

  • why were they speaking spanish??

    0:57 . "al suelo,al suelo, al suelo"

  • probably a training exercise in south america or simulating being in south america

  • special forces are the most versatile in the US socom

  • Arguably. Very good, no doubt. But SEa Air Land. They do it all.

  • Don't forget Delta

  • Special Forces are the best Soldiers in the world, hands down.

  • None of you really know what you're talking about, so stop please. You sound like idiots.

  • do special forces go in water are they navy or army???

  • Well, all army divisions have special forces trained in water situations, but Marines Special Forces are the best prepared I think. Not sure about USA Soldiers, but here in Colombia is like that.

  • The military has its hands tied. If you attain SOCOM, you have to hurry up and wait like everybody else. The brass take their orders from top government jelly rolls. They decide everything. Soldiers are just pawns in the equation. If it makes them more powerful, wealthier, even more popular, they're sending you in to die. Never forget that.

  • The Green Berets, Navy Seals, Rangers and Marine Recon are all good, when it comes for unconventional warfare. The difference is that each special units trains different. In order to be a member of any elite forces, everybody goes to Airborne school, Infantry in Fort Benning GA. 2 Ranger Battalion 21B combat of engineers.2001-2005

  • Everyone knows that the BSOA (BoyScoutsOf America) are the elite of the elite! You know how much training and time goes into earning the campfire patch or the Sewing patch?! JTF2, SAS, DELTA got nothin on the these guys!

  • I know man boyscouts would do better in iraq

  • you have to be 21 before your allowed into the special forces, i no this because im joining it after i get done with my first contract which is being an army ranger and the SEALs are not overrated, they do there part just like every other special op unit in the military.

  • no you dont have to be 21.

  • the only reason why you would be 21 is that when you join, you are most likely 18. the average duty time is about 3 years, prior to renewing your stay, you can try out for SPO. Though, you better have airbone, air assault, scuba schools finished. If you will be Infantry Special Forces. Go to Ft. Bragg to train. You'll get training later on Pathfinder school, then go back to Ft. Benning for HALO (high altitude, low opening) jump school.

  • SPO? i dont know what you are referring to, but all you need to be is an E4(reg army) or i believe 21 now for Xrays. Plus HALO is at Bragg. And i wouldn't get worked up over what gimnig says if he was a ranger for real he would never admit the SEALs doing a good job. He is what those of us "really" in the military despise.

  • i mean overrated not overtrained sorry

  • SEALs are overrated, PJs and CCT are more limited in their job capabilities, and Green Berets do pretty much everything that every one else does and more. They are the best and most secretive and versit

  • you got a problem with the seals

  • right...i can see you have a very bias opinion. GAY. green berets do their job as good as the seal's do theirs. they do different things. all of the spec ops u mentioned are very good. stop the bias shit NOW!

  • bullshit

what do green berets do that SEALs dont?....exactly

  • Green Berets and Navy Seals can do all of the same things, but Green berets are used more for unconventional warfare, humanitrian roles, foriegn internal defense, and the setup of intelligence in hostile countries. Navy Seals tend to be used more for direct action and small strikes and some covert reconnaisance.

  • The Green Berets,Navy Seals,Marine Recon,Army Ranger,Air Force Special Tactics and Delta Force are all good, when it comes to unconventional warfare. Each elite unit trains different and harder. In 1992 when the U.S was helping Somalia by taking out its rebels, all U.S Speical Operations units was sent in, for example Green Beretsm Rangers,Navy Seals, Marine Recon,Special Air Tactics and Delta Force was used. E-5 U.S 2Ranger Battalion 2001-2005. 21B combat of engineers.

  • You dont just join the special forces, you join the army then you go out for trainin in special forces, even if u pass the training they still may not take you just because they may be full, and yes if ur SF then you go into combat you dont get out of it.

  • u can speak to a recruiter and you can sign up for what would best suit u.. but yes u still gotta join b4 goin str8 to special forces

  • im thinking about joining the special forces but im wondering if this will guarantee that i will go to iraq....anyone know??

  • joining the army says you're willing to be send out to - for instance - Iraq. If you don't want to, don't sign up.

  • If you join the Army at ALL, you will go.

  • ofcourse u will. the Special Forces are the FIRST ones to go into the battlefield.

  • U.S. Special Forces..simply the best there is.

  • yeah but look at the australian special forces...research

  • Amen.

  • Look once for our dutch Korps Commando Troepen (KCT) their one of world's best to! or our air assault (11e Luchtmobiele Brigade) greetings from the Netherlands partner in afghanistan ;)

  • damm this ty.. 4:42 it's kind of sad...

  • great men. thanx

  • Gen. Patton's quotes:

Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.

    - General George Patton Jr

May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't.

    - General George Patton Jr

Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men.

    - General George Patton Jr.

"Americans pride themselves on being He Men and they ARE He Men. Remember that the enemy is just as frightened as you are, and probably more so. They are not supermen"

    - General George Patton Jr.

  • "A Hero is no braver than common man he is just braver 5 minutes longer"

  • thats on call of duty 4

  • SF do no automatic parachuting

    thats for common Airborne

  • yeah they do. HALO/HAHO are just specialist schools, but SF are all airborne qualified with static line.

  • just incase u didn't kno HAHO= high altitude, high opening HALO = high altitude low opening

  • Are you serious. This shit is intense. My cousin is in delta and he said this was the most painful, tiring, and difficult thing he or anyone has ever done

  • Special Forces Operators around the globe all agree that the SASR is the most arduous and toughest to get into out of the lot.

One major thing is that other foreign Operators are given a chance during their training if they fail a task, this isn't taken lightly by the SASR, you fail you go up for review instantly.

  • I'd probably say that Air Force Pararescue is more intense, although their jobs are completely different, the type of training they receive is more intense and I am not downing the Delta boys, those guys are badass.

  • Eversman i have alot of respect for Air Force special Tactics, but for you to say that the pipeline and training is more intense than 1st SFOD-D is insane. Delta is the tip of the spear in SOCOM. The only to other units that can compare is DEVGRU and British SAS.

  • is that hard training?

  • the first techno beat is from first mortal kombat when reptile fights liu kang

  • Here here!!! WOOT!!

God Bless the United States of America and ALL of our soldiers who defend it! Not only America, but ALL of western civilization!

That video really kicked some major ass. Thanks for posting it.

  • I hear there is a movement to get rid of the Green Berets. I hope it is not true. These men are the ultimate professionals.

  • My God, why does this sort of video bring out so many children. The actual troops themselves never talk about who is best, just mutual respect, unless they are about to shoot at them.

  • how ever on light of my other comment, australia and the united states have a new program and what were doing is trading special forces units and regulars to be trained in different situations in the others country, for example our 3RAR were sent to america for extensive urban warfare training and some sfg's were brought down here for extensive jungle training, so i guess you could say that they are on par, i even heard of the navy seals training with my commando's during APEC

  • Whats the difference with army&marine??

  • quick question, why does nightvision always show up green?

  • green picks up light easiest in the human eye.

  • lol 3:42-3:45 the target gets owned point blank range...

  • SERE course doesnt look as intense as i thought it would be

  • nothing looks hard when the pros are doing it

  • One day I will be part of the special forces >=|

  • US millitary rocks greets from holland =D

ow and dont forget korps mariniers and KCT

  • USSF/DEVGRU/SEALS/MFORCERECON/PJ are SOCOM specific. AIRBORNE/RANGER/MARINE/NAVY/AIRFORCE are military strategic based. Special Forces means a lot rather than the regular military fighting force. All of them though will kill you with a single glance though so word to the wise. Don't fuck with the US of A, or you and your whole generation will be wiped out. THE FLAG BLEEDS RED, THE FLAG IS PURE WITH WHITE, AND THE FLAG REMIANS UNSEEN WITH NAVY BLUE. HOOAH!

  • Rangers are a part of SOCOM as well...

  • Negative.. Ranger's are just elite infantry of the u.s army..NOT SF....only way to become SF is to complete SFAS and then be selected to become SF..and then your SF training begains.. SOCOM stands for special operations command. not elite infantry of the U.S> army

  • The only logical reason one would pursue Ranger school or any SOCOM MOS is the desire for a leadership combat career field in the military. Otherwise, just do your 3 years and get out.

  • I like that ! Those good men.

  • Great Video! We have simillar training here in Greece too, this kind of training are a great expirience, and teach you a lot of things again great video :D

  • all special operations units have specialties that make them unique to the same type of mission. wich is anything and everything.

  • Airforce PJs have by far the hardest training out of all SOF's.

With that being said, no special operations unit is "better" than another. Force Recon/Rangers/SEALS/Special Forces/PJs/DEVGRU/DELTA,,,they all have different missions which require different training. The only advantage devgru and delta have is that they get better funding than the rest

And whoever said that an 0311 is at the same level of skill/training as someone serving in the ranger regiment, please stop fooling yourself

  • what are you talking about, Delta and DEVGRU are picked from the best. so they are the BEST.

  • I went the the pj pipeline and it is not easy. but neither is any other pipeline their all just different.

  • PJs go throught Special Forces training schools, so do Force Recon, and most other SpecOPs

  • That deserves anyones respect. Looks like intense but sweet training.

  • I am in the Army so nothing against the Airborne Rangers,i would be damn proud to call myself one, but Delta Force and Special Forces are a more elite fighting force than the Rangers. Their training is much more rigourous and they have much longer training too. Ranger school is 9 weeks whereas SF school can be up to 42 weeks. Dont get me wrong Rangers are some damn fine Soldiers, but there are a select few above them.

  • i think its bcoz rangers work in more bigger groups then delta and they are a more of an elite infantrymen type

  • You really don't know what you're talking about with the training.

Ranger school is a cakewalk to anyone who's done training in the ranger regiment.

Special forces has a completely different mission than the rangers thus the different training.

For instance, special forces will go in and teach a tribe to be an effective military unit.

Rangers will go in and incinerate the tribe and leave without a trace.

  • yeah you're right, Rangers are awesome but it gets better (SF, Delta)

  • There is only one special forces in the us military, Green Berets. Ranger, Seals, Pararescue and just recently added Force Recon are under control by Socom/ special operations command. green beret's are trained much longer than the above.

  • Green Berets are also a component of SOCOM. Also one special forces unit isn't better than another because they all specialize in their units job.

  • He is saying that "Special Forces" is a group also know as the Green Berets. Special Ops includes Special Forces, SEALs, etc.

  • A "Green Beret" is a hat. Call them the correct name, U.S. Army Special Forces.

  • Any Special Forces Soldier can tell you that they are proud of been called "green berets".

  • Rangers are not SF and they are the first to fight. Yes that's right, they fight and kill before the Marines.

  • Delta isn't comprised of just Army. Delta is comprised of forces from all branches of US and some UK.

Special Forces you are Airborne or Scuba. SF typically blends in to culture for intel and more precise missions. Rangers are in and out.

In conclusion, SF Truly leads the way.

"Mess with the best, die like the rest" Hooah.

  • well said, although most Delta operators come from the Army, they've been known to pull personel from other branches and even the CIA.

  • You have to already be Special Forces or Ranger before you can Apply for Delta training so obviously it is the U.S. army's most elite unit.

  • irish army raangers kick SEALS ass, as do the us rangers, us navy founded by the irish aswell

  • Army Special Forces(known to civilians as Green Berets), primary mission is UW(unconventienal warfare) which involves the training of foreign indigenous forces. Navy SEALs deal primarily with Direct Action missions which consists of hostage snatches and rescues, and hard hitting clandestine assaults deep behind enemy lines, bot SEALs and Army SF are trained in all the different special operations missions though and are extremely good at what they do.

  • First off the whole debate on elite forces is common and is strictly conjecture. Next a Green Beret is a hat and only an unprefered nickname to the US Army Special Forces soldier, you don't hear Rangers being called Tan berets, or airborne troops being referred to as maroon berets. There fore the only true Special Forces in the US Army are the Special Forces solders; the other named units are part of Special Operations. To many times novice opinions muddy the water so to speak.

  • you can come up to the conclusion that all special forces are just human beings they are just trained they have no special magic powers and can die from peasants with shovels if not careful

  • Why do you all keep arguing about who is better out of all the special forces etc.? We're all fighting on the same side... so who gives a rats arse?

  • stories what I heard about US Navy seals I don´t keep them tough guys. But anyway US military rock!

  • wow...

  • special forces guys are so hot!!!! email me boys! haha

  • eatshitforlunch, what are you? you expert on this shit? you military? been to war? seen war? if not military shut the fuck up. pay respect

  • the best is - we the people will stand up for our rights...280 million!!! you cant stop that!!

  • 1eatgamesforlunch, is a fucking jackass.... enough said. hey two more things. what else do you think you know everything about, or who might read this stuff.

  • SAS,SEAL's,Green Berets, Delta,Rangers>Rest.

  • There is one military force that everybody forgets to mention. The North Koreans. I read in National Geographic that they they practice in gorrella tactics. And the Russian KBG's aren't that bad either, they were trained in one of the best fort in the world Spetnaz. I still think our SF can kick there ass.

  • SAS are known to be the best but that does not mean that the americans are any less effective. That said the SAS help train some U.S forces and help train there delta force.

  • Actually...U.S. Air Force PJ's are the most elite force in the U.S. military. Take all of these and throw them into one then u a PJ....

Army Ranger/Green Baret/Seal/Combat Controller/an any other elite force. With 2yrs of training before their even certified PJ's...that's elite.

  • i dont how you think you can compare Berets to SEALS they are two totally different Special Ops they train different and act different they never work together the only thing they have in common they are americas two best special ops glad to have them on our side. Berets go behind enemy line and teach farmers how to fight SEALs kick a door in and kill anybody with a gun but either way i would serve with any of them anyday GodBless America

  • SEAL Team 6 and Delta are very much similar. I guess you can compare SF and SEALs. SF actually have designated units within their ranks. They have special water borne units, HALO units, etc...

Oh, and I love how Marines think they are equal to an Army Ranger. Please.

  • Thats hella shit to be carrying jumping from a plane

  • I think the guy who said delta is the best, are on to something. delta recruit mostley from seal, green bereet, ranger etc.

I'm not to say that they ripped of the sas consept.I wouldn't know. But it possible

  • mate i hate to be the one to burst your little bubble but the rangers complete a 9 week training programme after inital training which in the worlds eyes doesnt make them the most elite example british royal marine commando's regular based amphibious infantry do a base 32 week basic training before specialisation also the french foreign legion complete a 8 month training course before specialisation making them more elite infantry than the rangers, both are considered light before specialiastion

  • yo there's a lot of special forces teams out there that r really good that's y they're special forces...the national guard even has special forces now

  • awesome

  • It doesnt matter who the best is. We all work together and get the job done. No other country could say that.

  • Lol at the -4's.

The green berets are cool but I think the Seals are the best

  • The music and editing changes the atmosphere quite a bit.

  • Now, THESE people are REAL soldiers!

  • Hooah, Hooray for the US army, Best regards from IDF

  • most green berets are rangers man, so i wouldnt go off saying their the most elite

  • miss my missions

  • british SAS forces kick ass compared to most of the American forces. im not saying you're crap im just saying you aren't as good as us.

  • australia got the british SAS training and improved it thats y we are the best. lookin all ur history and current they will say aussie SAS are the best right beside the british who made the SF not america. all america could make is a sandwich and they cant even get that right half the time u noobs

  • aussie SAS enough said

  • yes u guys are minute men but before u go anywhere who is in there getting intell and saving ur asses from everything. They are called the Australian SAS. most elite group of men ever to walk gods green earth. nothing and i mean nothing can get past them.

  • Yeah well.. Sweden ain't got shit, we have fat guys with lolipops ready to surrender if they see a cloud.. We are the guys the main character brings along so somebody dies in the movie. we are the second layer of toilett paper.. nice to have but no one knows why the hell it's there

  • Rangers and Seals are badass but not as good as Marines. Marine Force Recon is old to whoever said it was around only a few years, its been around since Vietnam war. Marines only train with the army in airborne school nothing else because the army is the only branch with airborne school. Marines have Recon, Force Recon, Scout/Snipers. Marine Scout/Snipers have there own training school they do not train with army. Marine Recon has there own schools located at Camp Pendleton Cali-Camp Lejuene NC.

  • Rangers are good light infantry. Your all dumb. Marines Have Recon, Force Recon, and Scout/Snipers. Marines go to army airborne school thats it nothing else with the army because the army is the only one with airborne school. Marine Recon has there own schools located at Camp Pendleton Cali. Camp Lejuene NC. Marine Force Recon has been around since Vietnam. Marine Recon is the hardest trained and best special forces we have besides Marine Force Recon.

  • so i read everything you guys put down....your all dumb! Marine Recon only goes to army airborne school thats it. Marine Force Recon has been around since Vietnam war!! Marine Recon has there own school in Camp pendleton and Camp Lejuene!! no one else but the army has airborne school. Army rangers are good for special infantry. Navy Seals are bad ass ive met a few but there sloppy, green berets are sloppy to. Marines Have Recon, Force Recon, Scout Snipers.

  • thats crazy! they do rock climbing

  • there is definatley no better both USA and brits are bad ass when it comes to milliraty saying one is better is dumb plus us and uk are great allies y worry whose better tehy aint gonna fight each other

  • Yeah they all may be good, but, the british are the best.

  • Following the toppling of Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq, 2003 it has been reported that an SAS Squadron has been assigned to a joint US/UK group of Special Operations units operating in the country, known previously as Task Force 145 (TF-145)not only did this comprise of SAS, but SBS, navy seals and delta force...so i think that this joint task force is without a doubt the best SF unit in existence today

  • im guessing theres a lot of Americans writing comments on here so ill watch what i say lol i would personally choose SAS as the best but ONLY! because they have been around since WW2 and are the SF regiment all others are based on. but these days i think the best is not a SF from one country but from the US and UK...

  • Army Airborne Rangers are the worlds most elite light infantry. Deployable anywhere in the world within 18 hours, they are the modern day "Minute Men". Green Berets are much like the Navy Seals as I stated earlier and also teach indigenous forces.

  • Rangers are shit dude, you guys use them for cannon fodder the poor bastards, NZ infantry would kill those guys if it wasn't for numbers.

  • With no warning, anytime any place. hooaaahhh. airborne !!!!!

  • Some douce who sits on his ass and plays first person shooters all day thinks he knows what the military is like.

    Pick up a fucking book.

  • Green Berets call themselves "force Multipliers" and they are good at it

Navy Seal are not "force Multipliers"

  • I aspire to be a Ranger one day, but are you being serious by saying Rangers are most elite, even over Delta?

  • You cannot compare two totaly different spec ops groups and being that they are in different branches of the military green berets and SEALs are nothing alike they train different they act different Basically in todays world green berets go behind enemy lines and teach people how to fight SEALs Today Mainly run House raids in the middle of nowhere Both are very Strong Spec ops and are a important part of the US Military.

  • Dude i feel like you dont even know what the hell your talking about your comparing apples to oranges Navy SEALs and Green Berets are two different spec ops and Marine Scout Snipers dont go to the army sniper school the marines have there own sniper training ficilaties and the cost guard does more than rescue people and why are u trying to break sas down when you dont even know what the hell your talking about.

  • fuck u thinking u know everything about the green berets cuz u watch the military channel

  • Delta Force the most elite. They are as high as you get.

  • Army Rangers are just around equal to the regular 0311 infrantry solider in the marine. The Marine Corps is the most elite Branch they recive the longest recruit traing have the highest standards and you NEVER here any1 say the army is to hard i am joining the marines ITS ALWAYS THE OPPOSITE i know what im talking about .the marine recon goes to army sniper training so they can learn wat they have to offer then build on it also each marine has to be a qualifed rifleman unlike the army Ooh-Rah

  • the Army has the best snipers in the world, it's been proven, if you watch the top sniper competition they've won it for at least 2 years running. and no Rangers blow away Marines

  • Are you even in the military? If you don't know shut the hell up.

  • i know you didn't just put a ranger on the same level as a regular marine.

  • i'm sorry to counter you but the best special forces is the world are the britisch SAS and the Belgian special forces

  • Army Rangers are young, highly motivated, and extremely couragous men. The average age and rank of a Battalion Ranger is 19 and E4.

Special Forces (US Army, Green Berets) have an average age of 28, and hold the rank of E7. Most SF soldiers have more than one SF-MOS. The Senior ranking NCO on a "A" Team is an E8/MSG. He has probably served on several different "A" Teams, some Combat Diver (Scuba), others HALO, and still Mountain Ruck Teams.
