I can see not everyone likes the uncomfortable truth. It's easy to lay blame, but difficult to accept oneself as part of the problem. If you shop at Walmart, you support them. Whatever you say against the store is hypocritical because you support them with your money.

Why does everyone blame Walmart? They couldn't do anything if WE did not shop there. So it's cheap-ass ourselves shopping there that drives out small businesses. Feel strongly about it? Don't shop at Walmart, but if you do go there, shut up about "big corporation driving out small guy".

It's not "just a joke", it's satire. Satire is always serious stuff wrapped in funny. Walmart does what it does because we like low prices and basically don't care if a small store is in business if they're more expensive. But you can't go to walmart for low prices and have others in business at the same time. So many whine about walmart but don't hesitate to visit next time they're shopping.

Funny or not, it's these mega corporations like WalMart that made the economy worse. Outsourcing or underpaying employees, buying cheap crap from China, putting other stores out of business. As Americans we need to get together, boycott WalMart and start more small businesses.
