I had just arrived in Israel less than two months before. The first time I rode a bus going to Jerusalem I saw looking into the ravine where the bus plumetted to its' untimely end an Israeli flag for each person killed.
It struck me that to live in the Holy Land as our ancestors did-requires outright self-sacrifice!!!!
