What a great idea, cutting the legs of the cage down. I will have to tell my neice..her conure is getting a little too big for it's britches!!!

Sam talks usually in a clear, smooth, sweet voice with the few words he knows. The rest is very humorous and expressive incoherent mumbling.
Sometimes I wish Sam talked more in English...
But hes a great communicator in his own way too! :)

Hi ! Your Sam is a nice looking bird, Not seen one with red feathers other than on the tail in the UK, (must be your climate?)
Beaky has talked almost from the day we collected him,He was born in the next town, He just picks up things, But if I want him to say something I MAKE SURE HE IS LISTENING,Most things take two or three days,We have forgoten a lot of whot he has learned in 8 years, But he remembers,!! and starts on about Christmas or sings happy birthday as soon as he hears it said,

THIS IS HIS THIRD CAGE I ALWAYS CUT THE LEGS DOWN SO HE IS NEVER EVER HIGHER THAN ME, I FIND THIS KEEPS THEM VERY TAME AND FRIENDLY, NOT BOSSY, I ALSO KEEP REPLACING PERCHES (with willow from my tree) AND NEW TOYS, HE IS A VERY CONTENTED HEALTHY AND HAPPY BEST FRIEND
