@bandymannen1 Videos get banned because they violate copyright laws on the materials used in them. The only way to upload music without it getting banned is making sure it falls under Fair Use laws (USA)

Google "fair use law" and select the Stanford site (4th result) -- it should be helpful

If it does get banned and you believe it falls under fair use you can contact Youtube and explain the situation and in some cases they will unblock it.

Make sure you always choose the low quality .flv version otherwise you'll get a weird format of audio file you'll have to convert.

It depends on the video. Technically for most music videos it is illegal. Videos published by other people are hard to tell, normally you need to look for any type of licensing and rights to copy and share.

Tried this - only gave me two goes for free and then made me pay. Still didn't get the music I wanted onto itunes. It uploaded onto my computer fine but not to itunes. The help seemed brilliant but didn't tell me how to get it into itunes. I didn't rate it.

Youtube updated and allows slightly higher quality .mp4 files and around a month ago added 1080p support (although they still convert the file and it looses major quality) You should download and save the .mp4 version (on the bottom I believe) if you can as you may be able to squeeze out a bit more quality.

SUPER may look pretty spammy, but over 30 anti-virus/anti-spyware programs have cleared it for use. SUPER is completely safe as far as I and most others know. There are also alternatives like FormatFactory(easy) and MediaCoder(more advancced unless using presets)

There's no reason it shouldn't. You can just copy the URL, paste it in Keepvid and download the MP4 and forget about converting it and everything.

Downloads from youtube at fast speed, and also helps you play them. (and also convert them) e.g. convert to mp4 or mp3 for ipod/itunes, mp3 player, mpg for movie maker, powerpoint and more.

This video was made a while ago. I believe you can put the Keepvid links directly into SUPER and SUPER will download and convert the videos for you. I use a Firefox Greasemonkey script and it puts a download link right under the video I can click. Also, you can now download the high quality MP4 videos from Youtube and there ready for iTunes without all these steps.
