lmao rofl that isn't the R2D2 in this LMAO ROFL That's the Interactive Astromech R2D2 from hasbro. It sells for $120 at hasbro or Sharper Image. It has a cheap cupholder and a flash light. This one is completely different. Do your research.

You should do some research before posting stupid comments such as the one you posted. This IS the R2-D2 projector that displays movies and is obviously more expensive. Look at the front of the astromech. It has a DISK SLOT. The last time I checked, the Interactive Astromech from Hasbro didn't have a disk slot. Before you post a comment, try knowing what you're talking about. Look at some other R2-D2 DVD projector videos. They are the same as the one in this video.

I was replying to shadowgavin's post where he said "i found one its only 169!!!! it plays tag and does voice commands to." He thought this was the cheap one from Hasbro. I was just correcting him, albeit I was probably very very tired when I wrote that post, but I was right. You should do some research before posting stupid comments such as the one you posted. The one shown in the video IS the expensive one with the projector, the one he found was the cheap toy from Hasbro.

@durge666 Not quite. This Artoo starts at $2000 (that's TWO THOUSAND). It comes with a Millenium Falcon remote, DVD, iPOD dock, etc...

I was talking about the cheaper one from Hasbro, not this. My comment was meant as a reply to shadowgavin but apparently youtube totally botched that up. He said he found one for $170, but all it's got is a flashlight, some quotes, and a cupholder. It can play hide and seek though, and it can dance But yea, I was replying to him. The R2D2 in the video is obviously the more expensive one. The cheaper one can't even move its legs :p

the moving dome is quite slow though..

they made it slow so you can easily do careful placement of the projection. if it went around at normal r2d2 speed then the image would be very difficult to place accurately on a wall. it would zoom from one side of the room to the other in less than a second.
